Throw a bunch of super interesting people on a boat and a hot ass 9/10 girl in a bikini and everyones going to be talking to the girl in the bikini. It is human nature. That doesnt mean you can't get ahead in the world disregarding aesthetics but its foolish to not say there is a lot of power that comes with it socially.

theres plenty of rich and famous actors who don't get near the attention and popularity the Rock has because hes the only Jacked AF actor. His acting isnt even that good he always just acts like himself or some super macho alpha male. His looks have a LOT to do with his ultra success.

I like how you have to use the bare minimum example of subway. I bet if he worked at subway he would be getting 100x the attention other subway workers get, why? because of his looks. He wouldnt get the same attention as being the superstar but he would get a lot more attention than any other subway worker.

It wasn't this bad for me, but people on misc+teen misc were putting up such big numbers I was lifting HARD 6 days a week. It got to a point where I was lifting too heavy, even people in the gym questioned how I lifted more than them when they were bigger. In the end, I stopped lifting due to injuries (which have now healed) but I lived a few years where I was transformed and even in sports I was quicker, stronger, fitter. Dunno whats in you USA peeps drinking water back then, e-stating was big then too lulz.

Misc was SERIOUS back in the day and pushed us in all aspects of life. Without the right mentality it could crush you.

Money and career have a place but Aesthetics can get you pretty far socially.

-gained a deeper understanding of fitness, nutrition & what is really attainable natty.
-realised a balance of what he is willing to sacrifice re: lifestyle to what he wants to achieve health/aesthetics wise.
-Started a YouTube channel and is (from what I saw after reading this thread) giving reasonable and straightforward advice re: all the BS that surrounds the fitness industry.

I mean anecdotal experience but whatever i feel like being in good shape has definitely helped me career wise as it just commands a certain respect from people that you dont get if you're a skinny DYEL. Just my 2 cents

its funny how you know how much people don't care about how I look when I look like I do and I personally experience it everyday. I am sure 300lb boy who has more fat mass than muscle mass has a better grasp on how people view aesthetics in society.

Just lol at you pitying me. I have a good career, a gorgeous fiance, own a beautfiul new home a badass truck have 3 awesome dogs and get to misc at work and I get to live life Aesthetic AF. I am glad YOU pity me. I value plenty of other things in life beyond vanity, the problem people like you have is you think we are consumed by it but its only a small aspect of who we are. I mean I go overboard with the bodybuilding personally because I actually have a passion for actual bodybuilding.
I guess you should feel pity for me for having a hobby that benefits me and I am pretty good at too.
