They ain't wrong. But as already mentioned, that applies to soo many things and it's hypocritical.

Really bad for kids though, I'm sad as an adult thinking about all the time I pissed away gaming as a kid, even now I still play too much (but I'm playing DOTA so I'm of higher IQ). Parenting is too hard, need to start paying people not to reproduce.

Adults can do whatever they want as long as they are working IMO

God forbid people want to do something to escape the tedium and harshness of modern day reality.

Granted, people can become addicted to video games and consume them in a way that is detrimental to their quality of life (though many also lead healthy lives regardless), but there are many things that do that. There are a laundry list of addictive sh*t in society that can fuk people’s lives.
