Update:

Been a rough week and a half, i got almost every symptom, chills, fever, body aches, loss of taste and smell, nausea, etc.

Only thing i didnt get is lack of oxygen or issues breathing.

Havent been able to lift at all or eat properly.

On the bright side, i look leaner.

Definetely stronger than a simple flu.

Finally the fever has started to go down.
However, taste is still phucked.

Load up on zinc, vit d, magnesium. If you have access to quercitin or HCQ take it, same with ivermectin. Rest, drink liquids, don't be a hero, if you feel off head to the ER. Odds are you will have no problems.

edit: whoops, thought this was a recent thread. Glad OP is okay. Btw, what you described is not nearly as bad as a flu. The flu sucks, it's absolutely awful.

Lol are you trolling? I was on your side until I saw all this gobblidy gook. What a weird way to explain it.

0.05% is 1/20 of 1 percent. 0.05% x 20 = 1%

There are 100 1s in 100%.

100 x 20 = 2000

0.05:100 = 1:2000

The shîttiest part is the arbitrary loss of smell…Covid attacks the sustentacular cells in the nose unlike the common cold or flu.

Basically, your smell will be shot for an arbitrary period of time and it depends on your immune system/genetics to determine the recovery time….

I got tested positive a week ago after some heavy headaches and sore muscles.

Nothing too bad, the flu hit me harder 10 years ago. The loss of taste is annoying though.

Keep in mind that 1 out of 2000 almost always is someone over 70, obese and already sick.

Btw, what is with people having covid and overblowing how bad it was? I'm not saying the OP didn't have a lousy 2 weeks, but being tired, coughing some, not being able to work out -- that's not great but it's also not even flu levels. Has anyone actually had the flu? It's horrific, you are in constant horrible pain, you have zero energy, every breath you take is labored, etc...

Obv, for those on average 78, 2.8comorbidity, obese types who end up dying -- it's actually horrible, but for a lot of guys who bounce back, they describe a tough 2 weeks as "near death". I had one guy telling me legit he almost died. I ask, did you go to the hospital. Nope. What happened then? He says Oh Man I was so tired. I had a hard time just walking around and stuff man, it was awful.

Was it, though?

I think people forget how bad the flu chits on people. Not talking about a bad cold, but actually the FLU.

I've had it where I legit thought I was going to die.

i didnt lose smell or taste, but it changed badly, ketchup tasted like gasoline, srs.
Beer tasted like sparkling water, most things i usually eat tasted like crap.

Only things that tasted normal were sweets, so i survived the week by eating oreos and peanut butter sandwiches, lol.
