it's not ideal that your neighbors are banging on their ceiling when your dogs make noise, but you'd probably still be in the wrong 9 times out of 10.

If the complex is pet friendly, and the OP's dogs aren't doing anything out of bounds while living there, the downstairs tenant would be out of gas. The burden of proof is on them. They should have to provide proof via time stamped audio/video evidence of what they are claiming. Otherwise it's hearsay. And they can go kick rocks.

Secretly have your dogs stay with your friends or whatever for a while. Continue to make the same noise yourself. When they complain show landlord that your dogs aren't even there and they look like retards
A young bull and an old bull were standing atop a hill looking at a bunch of heifers in a field below.
The young bull says "Let's run down this hill and fuk one of those heifers."
The old bull replies "No. Let's walk down there, and fuk them all."

The complex knows this too, they're just responding with path of least resistance. Since the other people complained first they have all the momentum.

But srsly, they’re complaining about just your dogs jumping down occasionally? Not them or you walking around, barking, tv, anything else happening that would echo normally through a floor? Your dogs must be coming down like meteors or something is being left out cuz.

I think op is the one who is harassing the neighbors. Your dog ig s making all sorts of noise and neighbor can't sleep. Put yourself in their shoes.

Having two big dogs in an apartment is selfish #1 for the dogs and also very disrespectful to other living tenants. Don't have large dogs unless you have a house and a backyard. Not that hard. Be Better OP

But maybe they can't afford a different apartment complex, so I'd try and be considerate. I'd say for you and your neighbors downstairs to simply apply for a different apartment in the same complex once available. (you downstairs) (them upstairs).
