At the top levels of US govt, even they understand and recognize that USA is a nation of immigrants and they also know about the American history of the racist whites. This is why things like birthright citizenship continue to have support that illegal whites of previous generation have also benefitted from and why immigrants are welcomed.

The bigger drop is because the Census is including multi-racial people more prominently now. If the Census was taken like before it would've probably been like 59.8% white.

You can't be a hypocrite in the way you're describing if they didn't do anything. What white person alive now was murdering native americans? And what native american today was a direct victim of that? Strong cross generational incrimination.

And you don't solve anything by affording the same problematic benefits to a marginalized group. For one, there's no end goal, it's just blaming white people for the sins of racists from 200+ years ago, even though many are not related to those people and white people were also victims of it centuries prior. Instead of handouts and free citizenship, governments and philanthropists should be fueling a responsible and patriotic culture that teaches young people skills to be successful in life. But they fund garbage leftist activism instead that teaches them everything in antithesis.
