my dog is almost 17yrs old.
i've never even heard of this.
hell, i have to put diapers on her cause sometimes the chit just falls out while she is sleeping or walking through the house.

Gotcha. Good luck with yer cut boyo! To me it's kinda so-so. There's definitely worse stuff out there if you want to groce yourself out.
Our vet does this with such grace there's not enough time to even smell it. Just slides a cheeky finger in there, splash splash, and you're done
