Quote one person in this thread that is advocating that position. No, really. Go ahead and quote one person.

The only person who thinks we should have stayed longer than May 1 seems to be a closeted Biden supporter.

Accidentally release the future Taliban president and then also accidentally leave an enormous supply cache for him, interesting.

Both Trump and Biden holding massive Ls in this situation.[/QUOTE]"Pakistan has released Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, and he joined his family on Tuesday, Zabihullah Mujahid, a spokesman for the Afghan Taliban, told Anadolu Agency.

On Tuesday, local English daily The News reported that Pakistani authorities released Baradar on the solicitation of the government of Qatar, where the political office of Taliban is based."

Hmmm.. seems pakistan had him in prison and Qatar asked them to release?

I can already tell right now that Chang would have no problem controlling your legs, arms and mouth like a puppet by twisting a few chopsticks in your angus.

I bet he could make you attack your own country while praising the Taliban for dignity and character in keeping to a deal.
Biden 100% deserves all the negativity he is getting from this atrocious withdrawal. That is what leadership entails and because he chose to ignore the basic common sense when leaving a war torn country, such as making sure there is enough military presence to ensure the safe exit of American Citizens.

Trump and Pompeo urged the release of Taliban leader Baradar back when they were doing the 'peace talks' last year. After his release, Pompeo met up with him multiple times and Trump spoke with Baradar on the phone.

I got a neg in my CP from someone saying: "Trump wanted a conditions based phased withdrawal not this disaster from a fake president."

Yes, Trump wanted a conditions based withdrawal. Trump started meeting those conditions, which included releasing their prisoners and drawing down our own troops, while the Taliban DID NOT meet their conditions. Yet Trump defanged and declawed us while not holding the Taliban accountable. It lost all our leverage. He's not a great negotiator, just as he is not a good selector of "the best people."

The Twitter picture above is just another example of Trump giving in to Taliban demands while not holding the Taliban accountable to the deal.

Both Trump and Biden are at fault for debacle. But this was bound to happen one way or another. - we lost the war over a decade ago. The greater fault lies with George W. Bush as I explained earlier.

That was the plan put forth by Trump. And it was a good one. The reason peace fell off into what we are experiencing now is because Biden decided he wanted to stay longer, which pissed off the Taliban, and also go against the plan to have the military leave last. Now we have citizens stuck in a country with very limited options to get them out.

But the main point in my post was you were making a strawman argument. You were putting an argument into peoples mouth that literally no one had said in the thread. That is why I asked you to quote someone making those arguments in your post.

Next you're gonna tell me Kim Jong Un didn't actually get rid of any nukes, even though Trump relishes in their 'tremendous' relationship with the most 'beautiful letters', the likes of which has never been seen before. Surely he was fellating Kim Jong Un in return for something?

So does anyone else remember Saagar ranting about Biden's choice for Secretary of Defense?

"What really bears scrutiny is that he [Gen. Lloyd Austin] has probably one of the single worst records as a commander in the US military in the last 30 year period excepting only the people who pushed for a war in Iraq in the first place."

To be fair Americans nor Europeans should really care about that chithole country. Let them straighten out their own chit. People just care because the news tells them to care. As if the quality of life in Pakistan, half of India and half of Africa is any better than in Aghanistan.

People care because with this much more resources the Taliban can carry out terrorist attacks on Western countries 100x more effectively, you potato

Yeah the people have been scared into that as well because the think a few random muslims did 9/11 and it's okay to give up our freedoms because of that. They really haven't done chit. Most of the attacks we've seen by muslims were small scale attacks as a result of failed immigration policy, not because of the big bad taliban.

All the marines I worked with, all the Navy I've worked with lost 100% respect for Trump when he did jack chit about Putin putting bounties on American heads if killed in Afghanistan.

Marines didn't care for Biden either, only because they said his foreign policy is too soft.

What’s your point? Is this your dumbass attempt at a strawman argument? Nobody wants to be in Afghanistan, the problem is with the way America left with thousands of people left behind, all the military equipment left, and forts intact.

Get a clue dip ****.

Brandolini's law

Honestly nothing he said was do damning that made me think "oh fuk that guy"

Lets go through his credentials then I will tell you why none of the stuff that guy in the video said matters.......

-West Point Graduate= Difficult and rare to find people who have graduated..... of all the military I have worked side by side with only one was a West Point Grad

-4 Star General= You don't get there because you're black, you don't get there cause your daddy is one (maybe because your daddy was one tho) its fuking rare af to get there.....

-Working at Raytheon= Most high end military officers work for DOD contractors, I have had the pleasure of working with a few 2 stars as my president/ceo of the companies I've worked for. They know a lot, see a lot, do a lot to bring in customers because they used to be one so they know how to obtain the needs and requirements for fulfilling said contracts......they don't get the luxury of calling up other generals asking for contracts because the people who decide which company to go with on a bid is not, and doesn't not associate with the client
`
Its amusing people think people this decorated and dedicated are some how money grab artist.....his total net worth is around 10 million.......that's from working hard and dedicated and finding right avenues to make that money over a span of 1975-now.

As for what was mentioned in the video you linked. Who has been successful as a general or commander that has a proven track record of winning between Iraq and Afgan wars?
Name one and I will show you you're wrong.

So really this guy in the video is complaining because he has ties to investment firms that he would obviously make money off of. Where was anyone else when Trump himself, and all of his cabinet were working in sectors they were already board members of and stand to make millions more.....those people were not 4 star generals.

Are the CJCSM war mongers? Sure....they have to be, for the sake of that budget! lol dolla dolla bills yall

Neat, do you guys get briefed on various topics within a military installation?

Did Russians put bounties on US soldiers?
The CIA produced an intelligence assessment, reviewing and confirming the findings. The assessment concluded that Russian military operatives had covertly offered rewards for successful attacks on coalition forces in 2019

Guess you just love breathing from the mouth huh?

Guess you just love breathing from the mouth huh?
Took me about 1 minute to use a search engine to find out it was likely false, or fake news. From the Biden Administration.
the Biden administration announced that U.S. intelligence only had “low to moderate” confidence in the story after all. Translated from the jargon of spyworld, that means the intelligence agencies have found the story is, at best, unproven—and possibly untrue.

“The United States intelligence community assesses with low to moderate confidence that Russian intelligence officers sought to encourage Taliban attacks on U.S. and coalition personnel in Afghanistan in 2019 and perhaps earlier,” a senior administration official said.
