Spent 10 years in the military between two branches and never seen it as soft as it is now. Even looking at basic training you can tell we are headed in the same direction.

That's the main issue with America. They will bash the military non-stop, say they are fighters for bankers, baby killers etc, but when you have the Taliban bombing chit and cutting off heads, they then want to puff up their chest saying "They wouldn't do that to the U.S Military. blah blah blah". YOu can neuter your force and then expect it to return the same aggression it's facing.
