China had been meeting with Taliban leaders weeks leading up to this mess. While America continues to push fear porn and make us panic about global warming, China setting up shop to be the largest provider of lithium. America probably armed afgans regardless of their terrorist backgrounds in the hopes they will fight back against China if they try to come in and take advantage of their assets.

1. Let China dig up all the lithium
2. Purchase lithium products from China for far less than the cost of dealing with occupying afghanistan
3. Profit?

Also, China and Russia has agents influencing this, just like how US and the rest of the western world has agents influencing China, especially in HK. The difference is that if the biggest cultural superpower in the world can be influenced by non-English speaking countries, something must have gone extremely wrong.
The system.
Democracy IS a good system, fuk living in a totalarian state.
So you go on and ask yourself these simple 2 questions:
1) Is US a democracy or an oligarchy?
2) What is wrong with the system?
The 2-party state is causing a lot of issues. Something as simple as converting to preferential voting will kill off a lot of corruption and showmanship.

A lot of seemingly knowledgeable posts itt (I mean that sincerely I haven’t fact checked anything but bruhs seem to have a good understanding of the situation)
The only counter I have to this is that countries may start to push back against China when they realize how F’ed they are.
That will be their “unintended consequences”
Maybe they are expanding too fast?
Just spitballing… I have no idea

Then, they'll offer to build a mine, which the Taliban will own the land of, and receive royalties.
Then, they'll debt trap them by building airports, bridges, roads, schools and mosques
The Taliban will default on the massive loans (extremely cheap by China standards), which China will extremely generously forgive in exchange for a few mines, worth a fraction of the debt. The local Taliban leaders will also have generous compensation packages on the boards of these companies. Wins all round.
The whole thing will earn China trillions, instead of costing trillions. Plus they can export Chinese men all over to take local brides, easing job and marriage shortages in China.
Every single strategic achievement complete for China. Gets their resources without the liability of an unstable populace. Isolate india. Expand their belt and road network. Instead of costing them trillions, its bringing in trillions of revenue, and actually subsidising the Chinese economy. A great moral victory too - to the Chinese, they're going to the barbarian lands to improve their lives, they built stuff for them, and forgave them when they couldn't pay, and no matter what you say about debt trap, its a trillion times better than what the west did to Africa and Afghanistan. Plus, they don't get any guilt, loss of political power, or morality issues with this. Its a royal flush for them.
Meanwhile, the west all condemns the Taliban, refuses to acknowledge their sovereignty, doesn't do business with them, and pushes them into China's welcoming arms. We all know what happens when you're a small time supplier, and your only buyer is massive and powerful. Brain the size of a pea.

If you think about it, China hasn't invaded anyone other than Vietnam, colonised anywhere, enslaved anyone, started any wars or done anything other than increase trade routes and counter American ambition. The western powers have done exponentially worse.
The worse they've done is Vietnam, which extremely few people are aware about. They're starting off as a super power with an entirely clean slate and the moral high ground. The west has a massive amount of baggage. Western media loves to talk about debt trap, but African media is talking about how great China is for forgiving most of their debts (in exchange for a few mines) As far as they're concerned, they're trading a mine for a few schools, a few hospital, some roads, and trade. Quid quo peo, completely fair.
US can't go around destabilising countries anymore due to the need to think of China. Afghanistan is a great lesson in what happens when you destabilise too much, and your biggest rival swoops in and takes everything.
Afghanistan isn't an expansion either, just another place to build their essential road network. They don't need the land, don't need the people, heck, they don't even need the mines when it comes to that, its just a nice added cherry on top of the cake.
What people don't understand about China is that they don't want to rule the world. They just want the world to revolve around them, like it has for 3600 years.
China bad is just western propaganda. If you look deeper, most non western countries are seeing it as a good thing, and actually long for it,

You're an idiot to think that any exit strategy out of Afgo would be "good". Was this perfect? No. Does it matter? Fuk it. The place is a hell-hole, people don't want change, lives, money, time are wasted away there.

You're as bad as the liberal cucks, bitching and complaining, looking for any chance to point the finger at the other guys. This is no different to when the liberal cucks would blame Trump for everything, and look for any opportunity to throw him under the bus.

If you look deeper, most non western countries are seeing it as a good thing, and actually long for it,
If you think about it, China hasn't invaded anyone other than Vietnam, colonised anywhere, enslaved anyone, started any wars or done anything other than increase trade routes and counter American ambition. The western powers have done exponentially worse.

Let's face it shill - this worldwide effort is a last ditch soon-to-be failed attempt at ushering in what your CCP wanted half a century ago - which its dying leadership wanted to hurry and see realized before their doom. You will never see Taiwan swallowed. The Sea of Japan / Korea will never have / China next to it. The future is not tyranny. Go paint something with lead, steal some ideas from people who can critically think, foment some sort of guised new age social credit score, and or harvest honey for the hive - nobody wants a drone like stagnant future like you are told to think you want.
In b4 "I hate tyranny, i'm one of you actually" blablabla rhetoric. Nobody will believe that shill. Use your appeal to intelligence somewhere else, like on your own people.

We elected someone with rapidly worsening Alzheimer's as president. He filled his top military and foreign advisor slots with imbeciles based solely on their social justice views and minority status. And this is just the completely expected result of having those people running everything. It's literally the best they can do.
