he died protecting his infant son (the murder originally pointed a gun at the baby) and now will never be able to provide for his family. 165k is not very much money when you consider they have to raise a kid, bury their son/husband, and provide for w/e income was lost while also likely getting therapy for the mother who witnessed her husband face getting shot and her kid almost getting shot. there are countless gofundme scams, this is demonstrably not one of them.

Phucking idiot. The guy was on the beach enjoying a meal with his new son, wtf was the proper thing to do? Stay home forever or wear chest plates 24/7? I carry quite often when I leave my house and even still would've had minimal options if presented with this situation. He was already committed to murdering you and now has a gun pointed at your face, reaching for your gun will only make him pull the trigger faster so all you can do is try to save your sons life. Stop being a keyboard warrior because you would have chit stains if someone so much as looked at you wrong during a meal
