I'm always glad that I never ever got into that habit. Growing up my mom was a smoker made me absolutely hate it. Add in the fact that ciggies are 7-10 bucks a pack and tours over.

Either caffeine, or girls/lust/masturbation. I keep trying to do nofap/semen retention but I can never make it past 2 weeks before I relapse. I'm about to try again for the 17th time. For caffeine, I have an energy drink every day, sometime 2 or a coffee. It would probably be easier to quit if I didn't have to wake up at 5am for work every day. I'm a night owl so it's hard for me to fall asleep early enough to get 8 hours of sleep a night.

I've smoked cigarettes several times and a cigar a couple times, but I never really got into it. I've never felt urges to want to smoke.

My Mother smoked her whole life. I was about 10 years old when my father said to her, 'If you ever want to see your grandchildren graduate, you have to stop immediately.'. Tears welled up in her eyes when she realized what exactly was at stake. SHe gave it up immediately. Three years later she died of lung cancer. It was really sad and destroyed me. My father said to me- 'Don't ever smoke. Please don't put your family through what your Grandmother put us through." I agreed. At 28, I have never touched a cigarette. I must say, I feel a very slight sense of regret for never having done it, because your post gave me cancer anyway
