Yes the counter culture is coming from the right now but all current and future celebrities who take part are grifters. This guy is a company who did market research and is now directing his product to the most likely consumer.

The hook is lame as hell and it feels as if this dude sat on 4chan, misc, and various right wing boards for the juiciest crap to rap about. I don't know why Webby and MacDonald don't give me the "fake" vibe, but maybe it has to do with the rest of their catalogue. I wish MacDonald did more spoken word, it's under used and his stuff is pretty heartfelt.

And speaking of 4chan, whatever the case, whether manufactured to an audience taste or genuine, 4chan has shown how certain movements can take off on it own and morph into reality-for good, bad, and hilarious. Maybe some true underground renaissance can occur as a result, maybe the real stuff will be buried in favor of the more generic crap (like almost all genres).
Virtue is its own reward.
