I have to be clean shaven for work but I hate it. I work in security and for whatever reason they want us to be clean shaven. But I look way better with a beard

I cannot stand any sort of facial hair

I use a straight blade every morning with shaving soap and a shaving brush to apply

I don't ever go a day without shaving, not even on weekends - can't stand the slightest amount of stubble

I used to get annoyed by how my facial hair felt when I let it grow but this time it felt good, it felt right and kept my face warm during a cool summer day.

It was starting to reach the awkward scraggly phase when I shaved it though.

In hotels we had to shave clean daily.

WFH crew now, usually shave every week or so.

I use clippers too, way more convenient and comfortable than a blade.

If a company is not going to hire you based on the fact you have facial hair, they did you a favour.

When I was young I did. Just lol now.

Only time I shaved for work was when I had first parade every morning. Once I left the Army just lol if some civilian thinks I'm shaving to impress them.

Bank/finance is that culture for sure. But the IT dudes behind the scenes shouldn't have to participate in the dress up. From my experience most other IT jobs are very relaxed about hair and what you wear. You don't talk to customers, just other nerds. I had a guy in my last office who wore cowboy boots, jeans and polo tees and had a pretty gnarly beard. Nobody ever said anything to him, all he did was sit behind a computer screen all day. It was a mid sized tech company though, difference culture.
