Pfizer could fuk you up on the second one. I had Moderna and I had a really intense but thankfully short lived fever. Took a solid dip in my fitness stats for about a week too. But completely fine now. Good luck.

Yeah I didn't want to get it, but the writing was kind of on the wall, and with the FDA approval, that pretty much sealed the deal for me. I'm getting my first Pfizer dose today, so we'll see what happens. I think come November when Moderna gets approved, and J&J shortly thereafter, there will be a mandate to get the vaccine or to LDAR everywhere.

I have no desire or need to get the eventual booster shots either.

you're right in that it hasn't gone through the 3-4 year trials. but this tech has been around for years, the corona virus has been studied extensively for years, and govt agencies prioritized the vaccine for FDA approval, where during normal times, it would be in a long ass queue before they would even look at it.

no one knows if it's 100% safe. a few people may have died from allergic reactions to some of the vaccines. but when you look at the percentages, it's a safer bet, especially for the vulnerable vs. risking catching covid.

to say it could wipe everyone out is way over the top.

Yes but what is chance of transmission after the vax and what's the hospitalisation rate? What's the death rate without a shot, is it worth the gamble? If you think it is, great. If not get the vaccine. But mostly : shut the fuk up and stop spreading misinformation. The vaccine works great, every set of data proves that. If people who didn't get the vaccine try to make 'I-told-you-so' reservations for the case if someone dies after 10 years from something actually unrelated.
