Cliffs:If all the federal workers stood together and told Joe "no thanks" then the government would fold on the vaccine mandate.

Of I guess if all the federal workers decided to strike and not do their jobs anymore the government would really fold.

You're gonna have a great time when you're told the J&J is no longer sufficient.

That's like asking if you had to pick between living in Florida, Mexico or Afghnistan? All suck bad but you'd have to pick between the lesser of all evils. Afghanistan it is....

Would really suck if the side effects of the vax are worse than the symptoms I had for one day while ill with Covid.

GL man hope everything turns out ok. Forget the haters its not worth losing a high-paying job or going homeless over this. I

I m neutral on vaccines think people should have a choice in the matter and not be forced by government to threaten people's jobs, recreation, or travel with covid vaccines.

I still havent gotten mine for health reasons (I have questionable kidneys) but the way its going i might have to risk it too.

Only thing i am worried about in your case is that they may say J&J is not good enough in the near future as there is not even a booster shot available any time soon for J&J and it does not protect well against the newer strains.

This is what i am worried about... it could also be very soon too considering J&J don't even have plans for booster shots yet.

Exactly my fear. I've worked with Uncle Sam long enough to know he's not above this crap, but I needed to make a decision before I couldn't.

A low fatality rate for your age group doesn't mean the virus can't still kick your ass. The J&J vaccine merely teaches your cells how to produce the spike protein so your immune system can learn to identify and eliminate it, so it's a safe bet that being hit by the actual virus would be significantly worse.

I had a sore arm for a day and a half after both shots, that's it

I reluctantly got JnJ in May. Hadn't seen my Mother in 20 month, she has RA and her immune system is low. Took one for the team. Refusing the booster shot, flat out told her absolutely not. No effects. Fuking joke. Pissed I got it.
