I genuinely don’t get the concept of weddings ded fkin srs. I mean I get they’re a celebration of marriage, but why the fuk are they always so extravagant? Why not just invite a few friends and family, have the ceremony at a cheap venue or park and call it a day? I think sloots romanticize the idea of weddings (and rings) because in reality they want that attention more than they want the commitment of marriage. See: Sara Hamilton and Ryan Spangler.
Keep in mind I’m a brah who has never been to a wedding before srs. The only person close to me who I know irl who got married is my father and he just went to the courthouse for a 5 minute ceremony when he got with my step mom.
