Maybe you should quit watching the markets? I'm still up massively. Using this dip to acquire stocks and crypto at a discount.
If if makes you feel any better, I know a guy with a massive portfolio of just Tesla and Bitcoin. Not uncommon for his portfolio to drop 150-300k in a single day. Always ends up correcting itself though. I'm not sure how much is out of your account but I'm sure its not several hundred thousand.
As far as financial stuff I educated myself on Crypto and have been developing a bigger position in Bitcoin and Ethereum. Maybe it'll work out in the long run maybe not. I'm sure as fukk not investing in these companies with Marxist leaders.

One I managed for years, but sold off most of what i was managing because I was using it as a learning tool and not so much trying to make a lot of money. I did better than I was expecting. I grabbed a chit load of AMEX when it crashed back in 2016. It’s up 200% currently (bought it at $53 a share, grabbed 100 shares).
Problem is, I’m not sure I even want to hang on to it. Its not a bad investment for the long haul, but the Marxist and fascist narratives coming out of these cc companies got me pissy and after the last couple stunts, I’m ready to bail.
The issue is that with inflation, you don’t want to pay off debt, so other than making payments with it, I’m not sure what else to do with it

All these threads today about the stock market crash are making me much more confident in the dip buy orders I'm putting in because clearly we're nearing a bottom. Have all y'all lost your minds and realized that we're up like 17-18% already this year, and that after a huge year last year despite the world literally coming to a halt? It's like all these noob investors have forgotten that the long-term return of the S&P 500 is around 7-8% and that it's not impossible to have some reversion to the mean given the past decade we've had.

Not sure if I'm in the same boat, I don't check my investments more than once a year or so. Last 2 times I looked were during the coronavirus crash for a lol (like 40% disappeared overnight) and then again a few months back to see record gains.

Yesterday was just another day in crypto. I actually bought more that I saw as bargains. If you did not buy more yesterday, again, crypto may not be for you.

the market went up over 100% from March 2020 lows and you're financially ruined after a 2% dip? JFL can't wait to see your reaction when we actually have a real bear market.

I pulled my crypto just recently when things went up a bit. I’m glad I did

If you're freaking out over a 2% dip then the stock market clearly isn't meant for you.
