I have one because recruiters use it to reach out to you. I do have a very salesy bio (i.e. I'm embellishing my accomplishments like everyone else) and put some effort in the profile in general. That said, I NEVER check the actual website/phone app or waste time scrolling it. It's a complete waste of time to be on social media anyway and the people that want to contact me for business reasons will send a message, for which I get an email notification anyway.
