Go to a therapist to discuss these insecurities. This procedure is very dangerous.
If you get an infection you can lose your leg.
If the bone does not lengthen properly the healing time is extended a lot and then you are lopsided along with the possibility of losing your leg.
The muscles, veins, and nerves will also have to lengthen. Damage to any of these will be painful and could, again, result in loss of leg or extreme numbness, burning, tingling pains in the entire lower leg and foot. Pain killers will not help with nerve damage.
No amount of height change will fix your insecurities. Once the surgery goes perfectly you will be conscious about the body:leg ratio.
I hope posting this can stop you from making such a huge life changing mistake.

The authors cited some literature to argue that men most strongly prefer women with average height, but the correct interpretation is that over a very broad height range, men do not really care how tall a woman is. As one approaches the extremes of height, it becomes more difficult for women to find men, and hence women closer to average height will be more successful with men than women who are much shorter or much taller, but this isn’t the same as an optimal preference for average height in women.

I paid $20k to have surgery to remove my loose skin after a massive weight loss. I felt bad because I made a big lifestyle change and was going to the gym 5-6 times a week but all the results were covered by the loose skin. When something bothers you, it bothers you man. This surgery OP talking about is much riskier but I sort of understand how something that bothers you is always eating away at you.
