Probably gonna get charged with a hate crime, should have drove away after the 1st round of shots and called 911.

adrenaline shooting up (no pun intended)
You were surrounded by two dudes surrounding you with GUNS pointed at you
anger will follow suit if I get the upper hand
no hard feelings. Survival instinct took over and you can’t recognize yourself when it’s life or death

I just can’t get over how dumb the tradie is. I’m no attorney but coming back to empty a magazine into the dude could be grounds for some serious charges. You see his leg twitch. He might have still been alive. The level of stupidity of people never ceases to amaze me.
Edit: I don’t see an issue with shooting him to begin with, it’s the coming back part that blows my mind.

Someone did steal 50 cents from the milk chute once , but that was our worse incident.
But we didn’t have very much cultural enrichment back then either.
You look at the cultural enrichment in Surrey right now , and the place is practically a war zone .
And it’s not Europeans or people from the United Kingdom doing the shooting

Alpha AF, I’m proud of him. I’ve been robbed at gunpoint before. I wish I was carrying at that time.

They will charge him same as others who desecrate dead people in cases of necrophilia but add misuse of a weapon
Unless there’s the tiniest bit of movement to indicate breathing or life of any kind on video orrrrr if they get the coroner to say time of death was the second round of shots
Hopefully dude gets cleared

Yeah he shouldnt have come back to shoot him but how much responsibility are we going to put on the victim here, he had just been through an attempt on his life and the first time ever firing his weapon at a person. His stress levels and what not are through the roof. How much liability should be placed on him to react sane, rational and calm when he never initiated this life and death battle. If those guys never robbed him, they would still be alive. And if they never robbed him, then him coming back to shoo them in his panic state would also never happen.
Its like the chitty european laws where they have a "duty to retreat" in their own fuking house. Like someone breaks into your house, in the middle of the night and wakes you up, it is then your responsibility to first attempt to run away, hope they dont shoot/stab you in the back and assess your true need to use deadly force or not.... um that is bullchit, why should all that responsibility fall on the law abiding victim.

cant blame the guy for circling back and emptying his mag
of course you know the fgt da is gonna pursue charges but i bet he could walk if he argued he was thrust in to a fit of anger or rage like NGRI stuff even though those cases are won at like 1-3% if that

Of course in true Canadian fashion , he had multiple charges laid against him. Never heard the outcome , but I’m sure it cost him a lot in lawyers etc , and lost all his guns.
The only way you can be considered unaccountable in Canada if you have a home invasion is if they kill you . Then they consider you off the hook

so youre supposed to figure that out in a life and death scenario when your jacked and primal brain has taken over your body to survive, and even if you could work it out in split second timing, how does "equal" force help you overcome an opponent?
