Karma is not necessarily actions that happen to you in the world. It will more often be more obvious in your mental state. When you lie, cheat, steal, etc, it causes you immense mental suffering. Your mind will be very stimulated with story, guilt, fear, anxiety, etc. It will be the opposite of peace. You might not even see the suffering your mind causes you if you don't have enough mindfulness. It's truly sad how many people go through life without being aware of their own thoughts and mental states. They live in their story, and are completely at the whim of the world and their out of control minds, with no free will at all. This is why we practice stillness, quietness, and meditation.
If we sit still, we learn to see what actions and words cause us suffering. This is how we see karma.

This is the most obvious way to prove that karma is real.
In my experience however, there is a metaphysical aspect to karma as well.

You guys are just wrongly using the word karma to describe other situations or things that already have an actual name or term.
With that logic, then yeah of course it exists, if I’m going to interpret the word karma
In a way that allows me to fit it in anything I want.
Let’s try to not be disingenuous and first let’s clarify what meaning of the word ‘karma’ we are focusing on. It’s a magical force that keeps a score of good or bad deeds people do and redirects that same energy towards them… which of course it’s bull****.

"The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."

"If a man speaks or acts with an evil thought, pain follows him, as the wheel follows the foot of the ox that draws the carriage…"
Another version:
“Our life is shaped by our mind; we become what we think. Suffering follows an evil thought as the wheels of a cart follow the oxen that draws it.
Our life is shaped by our mind; we become what we think. Joy follows a pure thought like a shadow that never leaves.”
And for sure it keeps manifesting in the world. If your mind has this pain, you are much more likely to act or speak in ways that continue to harm others. You end up in terrible situations, and boom now you have "real world" karma.
No one who is just walking down the street gets randomly arrested and put in jail for life for absolutely nothing. 99.999% of the time if you end up with a life sentence in jail, it's because you spent your whole life gradually making worse and worse choices without the awareness of the pain you were causing yourself and others.
I'm curious what your thoughts on the metaphysical manifestations of karma are?

Here's a hypothetical example of karma that is simple enough for anyone to grasp. Imagine there was a group of people, 4 men, 1 woman. The 4 men were the brothers of said woman. If you walk up and punch said woman in the face, are you dumb enough to believe the 4 men wouldn't beat you? Karma.
I've seen karma manifest almost immediately in stranger ways than this BTW.

Karma is basically just how your life is affected by the intention that you have before you do anything like mentally or physically.

I had an epiphany once that karma is a moral balancing algorithm put in place by the simulation creator. The initial bad deed can be corrected if the AI is aware enough to stop the cycle. The only flaw is that the AI, (humans) in the simulation are too dumb to realize that eye for an eye makes the world blind so we just keep paying bad deeds forward until we eventually kill ourselves. I wonder how many times this simulation has been played out and failed. hmm...... If everyone was just more self aware and thought about the negative repercussions of their actions, we'd be living in a utopia. Instead, most people today are ego maniacs that let the idea of who they are completely control them. This idea/collection of ideas or "illusory self", has become the default identity. When someone opposes an idea these ego maniacs hold, they feel attacked, even feel as if their life is at stake because to them it is. The ideas have become the life. kill the idea, you kill them. Instead, if they observed their thoughts, and looked at them objectively, they'd find that most of their opinions are false. Slowly, they can deconstruct their ego through this process until eventually they become just a being that has a brain to solve problems but not create an identity with the problem solving tool. "A name that becomes a name is not the immortal name" ` lao tzu
Too bad most people are too stupid to realize that this process is the next step in our evolution.
This is also why monks are slaughtered. The true "woke" are the threat to the maniacs in power.

This is basically what the 'spiritual teachings' are trying to explain to people - you've just said it in more scientifically valid terms.
It gets a bit more complicated thought because most of your thoughts and beliefs are actually subconscious or unconscious, so that's why we can't just change them that easily.
Like for example if i told you that you are actually the creator of the created and you are also the created - that deep down you actually want the life you currently live, that is every single aspect of it is your own subconscious choice - would you believe me?

You see your thoughts are not really your own, they are just thoughts common to the mind of mankind, which you're entertaining for whatever reason.
These thoughts carry vibrations and attract situations in your life which confirm your thoughts and beliefs.
So it's sort of like an illusion being created in front of you, and due to the way that the belief system works, you can't really escape it.
Easiest way to explain it is like if you've ever went from happy to depressed and noticed how the world goes from bright to gloomy, so it's like perception dictates reality, etc.

how do you know this experience of being human isn't part of something bigger, where karma will continue to follow?

or this

Obviously it's hard to put the true nature of our reality into words but this is about as far as I've gotten.
I could probably explain it better but I didn't get much sleep last night.

Ego is just how you identify with the material world in the day to day life, the consciousness is the observer, and we are all that one same consciousness or awareness.
The only difference between people is the level of awareness that you have - so what i mean is that by having a greater development of awareness, you can see and experience things that are not so obvious to other people, yet which are persistently at work.

Why is this even brought up at all? This is the equivalent of believing in a flat earth. Topics that are brought up within in certian circles really speak volumes to the intelligence level of those circles.
OP, you either
a) Just found out that karma isn't real (you are low iq)
b) You thought that "people need to hear that Karma is a big fat lie" (you are low iq)
In either case, you are low iq. Just lol at you making this thread at all.
