i get it comes down to making sure you don't F your line by being in the penalty box and such but it's still bizarre how most fights are begun this way.
depends on the circumstance back when enforcers were a thing and each team had one on the 4th line a lot of times youd line up with the other dude and be like you wanna go? Both dudes knew it was there job and basically knew if they wanted a roster fight to fight. Other times if its retaliation you jump a skill player etc... its all a really weird code

I hate how soft the league is and hardly watch full games anymore but they just signed a tv deal with espn and tbs recently so they are doing pretty well

LOL at people who think hockey is a chit sport

You guys have just never played so don't understand how fast things are happening out there - its way faster than it looks

A full contact sport that takes tremendous skill (skating, handling the puck, shooting) where there are no out of bounds - also an extremely cerebral sport where quick thinking and hockey sense and not physical gifts are the most important traits

Compare these highlight video to a messi video - doens't compare
