The Raiders got bailed out for the remaining 6 years and $60 million of that horrible contract they gave Gruden.

In the 9 seasons Gruden has coached since his 2002 Super Bowl victory, Gruden has gone 67 wins and 82 losses with no playoff wins, and only one double digit win season. He is just not an elite coach.

Next the Raiders need to move on from the failed Mike Mayock experiment and hire a real NFL GM, and draft Derek Carr's replacement in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Here's how futile the Raiders drafting has been over the last 17 years, from 2004 to present, they have drafted only 3 players who have made multiple Pro Bowls. Derek Carr has made 3 but none since 2017, Amari Cooper has made 4, so they traded him away at 24 years old, Khalil Mack has made 6 and been 1st team All-Pro 3 times, so they traded him away at 27 years old.

Derek Carr is an OK QB, but in the mold of guys like Tony Romo and Andy Dalton he's never going to win you a championship. He's currently the 3rd best QB in the AFC West, and the two guys better than him are also younger than him and neither is going anywhere for 10 years barring injury.

The move to Las Vegas is looking good, great fans, great stadium, just need to press the RESET button in a major way.
