Where does this idea that Lamar Jackson has no help come from?

Exactly. At best he’s the 10th best qb in the league.
He’s thrown 8 touchdowns ffs

I like to give Lamar fans **** because I don't think he could do anything like this on another team, and I still don't think his passing is great (3-300 uard games in 3 years is a little sus) but he fukkin wins games man

Remember when people said Mike Vick had no help but then a soon as he left Roddy White made first team all pro. That’s Hollywood Brown. Lamar is an RB playing Quarterback. Someone post that QB challenge video lmao

Lamar has flipped the “can’t comeback from a deficit” narrative on its head this year and made me a good amount of coin in the process. GJ Lamar Man.

If I'm choosing a franchise QB I'm not going for a guy who is going to run first rather than throw because as you get older that ability to run goes away. 100% I am choosing Kyler, Russ, Dak or Herbert over Lamar as a franchise QB and its not even close
Eventually Lamar won't be able to run it any more. Where would that leave you then?

Lamar is not a plug and play. He needs an entire team built for his style and it doesn't translate well to post season.
Homie will be a raven in this system until he’s no longer able to play.
His trade value will always be 0.
The Ravens have gone all in, but it’s only ever going to be the Ravens for him.

This is a stupid argument.
Right now Lamar is probably the bestfootball playerin the NFL right now.... notice I did not say the best QB. There are better QBS, but Lamar's physical ability is off the charts. We haven't seen this kind of natural talent since early Michael Vick. He has really improved his passing over the past few years as well. He is playing like a top 5 QB right now and it's not even debatable.
That being said, his success right now is based on his physical ability. When he ages, and can't run like he does now where does that leave him? He is not a pocket passer. His throwing success is a result of his running ability. Maybe he can adjust his game later on to compensate for diminished physical ability, but thats a big "maybe" because he has made his career based on his physical ability and not necessarily his understanding of the more complex things like reading defense/coverages ect.
At the end of the day the future is unknown. Lamar could go on to break records and win multiple titles, on the flip side he could flame out in 4-5 years when his speed diminishes. Look at Andrew Luck, he was supposed to be the biggest lock of a franchise QB coming out of college since Peyton Manning. Career got cut very short.
You just never know - right now Jackson is playing lights out, and assuming the Raven's continue to build the team around him he will be successful until his physical ability tapers off. Then who knows what happens.

I do agree with the general notion that the Ravens are built to Lamar's strengths. I don't know well he would do on a team like the Chief's who have a swiss cheese defense.

lamar is really good, hes still young as fuk, but i wonder if he can keep up this "young full of energy" type of plays as he ages in this league.
perhaps ravens don't give a fuk and still run him into the ground even if it means one superbowl win

Sure, and he's still top 10 for me, but he's not top 5Lamar is 24, I highly doubt the Ravens give a fk about how he can’t run 8-10 years for now if he can do what he’s doing for the next 4-6 yrs. Vick was still running 50-60 yards a game at age 30+. Coaches/teams are in win now mode, you have coaches like Tomlin Harb Carroll Bill who will stay forever, but if you don’t win now you won’t be there later to see your franchise qb get older.
