Papa tradie needs a new Raptor.

Man I felt like a poor when I got a 5 year loan on my G8 years back, I'd rope if I needed a 7 year loan.

I guarantee you that car prices will go up because of this. Look at cell phones, once financing came out for them, their prices jacked up to 4 digits for some models. The poors will still buy it, of course.

Logically the next step is to stop car repos because they do affect minorities disproportionately. Then once the car companies need a bail out from the billions they are losing the government swoops in and nationalizes the Big 3. The suspending of repos will impact the foreign car makers with plants in the US where they need to pull out to their native countries then the US levies a super heavy tariffs on import cars. This forces people to need to move to larger urban areas and reduce their ability to move around in one motion.

If I can get a 84 month loan at like 0.9% why wouldnt I?

I'll keep payments extremely low and pay off chunks whenever I feel like it.

Obviously you'll pay more if you actually let it last all 84 months compared to say a 36 month .9%

I'll take a .9% 84 month anytime and pay chunks whenever I want

Now if the interest is like 5% FUK THAT

Bro if the people didn’t qualify because of their FICO for an 84 month loan, you really think they’re sniffing that sort of interest? Even good credit on an 84 month auto loan (lmao) wouldn’t get prime rates because of the length of the loan. These absolute morons are gonna be picking up massive loans with 10%+ interest for sure.
