When its a matter of pure survival its gonna help some "recover" ( and probably fuel their addiction roots with some other substance or activity instead of their regular heroin or whatever they do there) but in the end those people turned to drugs because their life is ****ty so once they're out of rehab and back to their ****ty life without the support of the rehab center they're gonna get back on the gear But yeah it might help some to toughen up and quit cold turkey but they're in a very small minority so its gonna do more damage than good overall

Taliban isn't alpha? That's news to me. They stood up to the #1 world power and won. Don't care what you think about right vs wrong, that takes balls.

i highly doubt these people will be going to sort of a traditional rehab center that we think of lol.. if they can force a 15 day detox and then spend a month and a half using their religious teaching to instill some form a faith based support structure, it can be pretty damn effective.

these people dont have money for bel air rehab "havens", this is the best they can do. the alternative is allowing these people to continue using and living under bridges.
