theres something called a rape kit for this exact reason. They tell you not to shower if you were raped and get a rape kit done immediately. Thats how you prove it. Waiting 12 years is BS, I dont care wtf you say. Then there is no proof, and that is your fault for not reporting it when something could have been done. DNA has been around for over 20 years now solving crimes, its not the 1920s anymore.
