I know many people that have become actual engineers. None of them wore a gold grill, brought guns to school or committed mass shootings.

We're so ****ed when our society thinks a mass shooting is justified because of bullying/skin color and that mass shooter is walking free. Meanwhile, if you protect yourself from a group attacking you and your skin is light, your bond is set at 2 million and the media makes you the villain.
I didn't click on the article. But the info on the mass shooter is NOT meant to justify violence. It is to give pertinent info/facts about the people involved and the crimes committed. It is to educate people on possible reasons behind attacks and violence against others- including innocent victims. It CAN be helpful for anyone to understand WHERE and WHY violence like this occurs and what proactive steps can be done to help prevent this in the future. It is no longer a "job" just for a criminologist to understand human behavior.



It seems like mass shootings are potentially on the rise (unfortunately, this makes sense during/after a pandemic such as this), and students, teachers, school officials on all levels, principals, local police, etc. need to be aware of any ongoing violence/bullying in high schools. Articles "explaining" a shooter's unjustified motives shouldn't EVER be interpreted as excuses. They are merely giving facts. Schools and other institutions are looking for ways to proactively educate EVERYONE on this very serious subject!
Fact: My first-generation uncle was a boxer who fought Sugar Ray Robinson! He also fought in the war, sacrificing the career he deeply loved, so people could have the right to freedom.

Let's show RESPECT for the POLICE and ALL FIRST RESPONDERS by helping to keep THEM SAFE AND SOUND, and thereby able to PROTECT US!

75k bond seems reasonable I guess.......if they live in a 400k house, 18 year old drives a 35k car, wears good clothes.......

No one was killed......he will go to prison none the less. With a good lawyer all they will do is delay the trial as much as they can and dig up every little detail that leads it towards defending.....

Hopefully he gets 6-10 years. Then I guess he will get bullied in prison cause his mom sends him Gucci underwear and moon pies and good food......when will the bullying stop for this outstanding young man

ssdd. prisons are filled with folks who swear they are innocent victims. and most folks eagerly agree that the felons are the aggrieved party. Just look at the way the massive majority of people view child rape. In mississippi, it wasn't until 2019 or so that there was a formal admission on the part of the government that sex trafficked children were not in fact criminals and that health and legal workers were formally forbidden to treat them as such. AFAIK no one was killed.

It wasn't a justified shooting. Also if the bullying was that bad that the kid felt he needed to take a gun to school then his grandma should have pulled him out of that school and sent him somewhere else.

OTOH I think kids should be educated on the potential consequences of being a bully. Maybe the person will snap and kill themselves. Or maybe they will snap and kill you. You just don't know all the facts about the person you are bullying- personal situation, mental health status, impulse control.

Feel the same about educating them on the perils of social media. Shouldn't post anything on your social media that you wouldn't tattoo on your face or display on a billboard in town.

There is a difference between merely giving facts and garnering sympathy. Writing that he was living with his grandma, aspiring to be an engineer, and enjoyed driving his car around town does nothing but attempt to create sympathy for a guy who shot 3 people. I will agree that reasoning behind attacks is helpful insight to people's actions, but if you can't see this was written from a sympathetic angle, then I question your interpretation skills.

Not supporting the weak handling of this case but there is a big difference between someone going to a location and attempting to shoot as many people as possible. And a thug shooting at another thug and hitting him/a few people around them is not shocking or new.


The simple truth is nobody cares much when black people kill each other. Just look at chitcago and this sort of thing goes on every weekend. His only real mistake was doing this at school. If it would have been anywhere else nobody would have even heard of this case. This type of thing literally happens in cities around America every single day.




Things have been spiraling out of control with the urban youth community for awhile. This is going to sound F'd up I'd say anywhere a large portion of urban youths between the ages of 15-25 gather/group up the chances of gunfire is significantly higher. You may not be the target but stray rounds often hit unintended victims.

If you are anywhere like that ^ and a fight/argument/altercation breaks out its time to hit the nearest exit. Especially if the fight seems to end and one party leaves. Chances of them returning with a gun or waiting in the parking lot with a gun are always there.
