His sentence was reduced to 11 years because he is autism. He'll definitely be out before 11 years.

This. In Britain 'Asian' means Indians/Pakistinis/Begalis etc, pretty much anyone from the Indian subcontinent. Although Arabs are sometimes grouped together with them from ignorant people who can't tell the difference.

The UK doesn't really have a big East Asian population apart from a few exchange students and the local takeaways so Chinese/Japanese/Koreans are referred to as Oriental or simply just 'Chinese' lol.
