In some states/countries, living in the same residence as someone else for long enough constitutes "common law marriage" where she can still take your chit, without a prenup being involved obviously because you were never really married in the first place. So it's like unprotected punishment of marriage without being married lol. Therefore if you're living with someone in a place where common law marriage is a thing, might be good to consider marriage after all (with a prenup).

Marriage enables tax savings. Having kids enables further tax savings.

Those are the only "unrefutably positive" advantages to marriage, srs. Other than perhaps adopting and applying the nuclear family concept if kids are involved.

None of the above, especially since I'm kidless, is making me want to marry ever. I feel like you OP, except even more strongly because I've never even wanted kids ever, srs. Having kids, and especially wanting to have them, might play a heavy role in leaning towards being OK with marriage.

I don't want to give someone power over me. I don't want to make myself vulnerable to divorce issues, though this can be evaded if you marry someone who makes more than you anyways.

I’ll choose to stay single compared to being with a sloot though.
