FYI, he's not the only person warning of hyperinflation. Larry Summers, former Secretary of Treasury also warned of it just recently. The Wall Street Journal has written about it earlier this year. Michael Burry also gave the formula showing it's on its way.
Printing trillions + dramatic decrease in production (including fossil fuels, debt to gdp ratio) + supply chain issues (including energy supplies) + Massive stock market/investment game, then the pull out = 100% chance of disaster.
There are replications of the Weimar Republic and its collapse (Reparations and all, aka social justice policies being played by banks and the fed), as well as consistencies within the 1970s inflation crisis.

As per Wiki;
"In economics, hyperinflation is very high and typically accelerating inflation. It quickly erodes the real value of the local currency, as the prices of all goods increase. This causes people to minimize their holdings in that currency as they usually switch to more stable foreign currencies"
Foreign currency? Bitcoin ring a bell? Inflation is when value of the dollar is lost. Hyperinflation is when the prices of goods go up with it.
Again, don't argue ONE point and think you've won. There is a lot more to it than that one point. Scarce resources, like natural gas, gasoline, propane, yes, even water, etc all go up too. It wasn't a coincidence they were warning of energy costs shooting up. The 30% was a conservative number, probably to keep from scaring people. IN reality, you can bet it will be a lot more.

F*cking idiot. No one said inflation doesn't ever rise and fall. You act like your 30% energy increase is the second coming of the Great Depression. Some of you just want the world to be in chaos because your lives suck. Keep fear mongering to the extreme because your energy bill for the month went from $120 to $155.... society will surely collapse because you have to find a way to save an extra $35 each month LMAO

these kinds of increases will absolutely destroy those barely hanging on
30% is a lot for an increase of energy with a year
I actually know people that cannot afford to pay energy bills as they come, they have to go on a plan that will give them exactly the same bill averaged over the year

Gas is currently 3.55 a gallon and growing, here by me, and people in this thread think the only difference is a 30 dollar heating bill increase. Wait til you are paying 7 dollars a gallon for milk or 6 dollars for a dozen eggs, in addition to a dozen other things. Yes those increases won't cause you to go broke individually, but it's not sustainable for a majority of the country.
It will only force more people onto government assistance, further relying on SNAP benefits for meeting the bare minimum. Combined with low job growth, a global energy crisis, an increase in our debt ceiling, unrepentant spending, a global supply chain crisis, and hords of illegal immigrants being welcomed and provided relocation packages by the feds, how can anyone think this is ok?
Nobody remembers the run on every grocery store when the pandemic began? And that was only expected to last two weeks. This will be worse, and last much longer.

Id imagine those people who are heavy in physical assets and manage to stockpile necessities for the long term, come out ahead in a hyperinflation scenario, right?
Also those people with money invested in the market are safe?
