Demetia/alzeheimers scares the fuk outta me srs

Would rather die

They're poisoning us with soft metals and tons of other toxins from every angle, thats why rates are thru the roof srs. This is not up for debate.

When I was a kid 25 years ago youmaybe knew 1 persons brothers cousins great-grandma that had it.

Now 1/2 seem to have it. Its insane how widespread and "normal" its become.

Also of note, my Opa has smoked damn near a pack a day since he was 16, and if you know anything about Dutch food, lots of potatoes, Oma fried everything in butter, and lunch was always white bread, cheese, and some sort of chocolate sprinkles on bread lol.

94 eh....so how long would he have lived if he was "healthy"? lol

I think he lived in a time before anyone really cared when he was younger. i spend a ton of time in the sun, but am always long sleeved, and sunscreened where I have to.

Part of my preparation was marrying a woman who can cook/clean and enjoys doing it for me. Next I will make sure I end up with a good base to live in. Already have a house, just need to finish paying it off (soon).

Not much else to do except make sure I maintain my health and don't get too comfy or go full degen.

As for me, I just look forward to living out my dog years of life sitting on my porch looking out at my farm crapmaxxing and prune juice maxxing with a hot nurse cleaning me on the reg.

It's probably why I have this OCD tendency towards doing everything in the most time efficient way possible and why I get so rustled when people try to waste my time.

Of course the irony of that is that stressing over time will very likely lead to dying early and having less of it in the long run.

Last living grandparent is getting to the same stage. He is 96, still lives alone. My parents are his closest family (distance) and he is a couple hours away. My mom has looked into moving him out of his house to somewhere closer to family, but he isn't interested. They get out to visit him every couple weeks and talk on the phone every night. I'm due for a visit, too. Grandma died 4 or 5 years ago. All his friends are gone. He was very sharp mentally up till a few years ago. He's declined over the past few, but is still doing ok - fantastic for his age, really.

It's hard to see, I was always close to him. He was the family who got me interested in the outdoors. He loved hunting and fishing.

Kinda see it like getting drunk, sets in but you arent aware of it.. you probably think you are fine like a drunk trying to drive. But in reality you are completely gone but dont even know it.

Anyones that been under general anesthesia.. probably similar with how old peoples consciousness fades into nothingness. Imagine being under without ever waking up... eternity could go by, and will, and you wont have any clue about it.

the scariest thing about growing old that would bother me is the death of others. like if i live until 90, then chances are i will have had to watch everyone in my family older than me die. and not just family but close friends and loved ones.

it really hit me when i was at my grandpa's funeral. i saw all my family members, parents, uncles, aunts, cousins, etc. gathered there and realized that apart from a handful of those people (my younger cousins and siblings), chances are i will have to watch every single one of them die someday. and that's a really scary and depressing thought.

There is a post on fb of a kid whose dad died. His dad's last words were how he wished he could hunt with his son one more time.

So the kid took his dad's ashes into a separate tree stand and went deer hunting with dad one last time.

Have consumed way too much hardcore drugs, alcohol and cell tech to ever get old. 35 years old and already have heart and kidney problems. Oh well I wasn’t planning to live that long anyway.
