still sticking with tennis, and actually joined a couple of USTA leagues -- playing in a tournament in NJ next month

i hear you on the being exhausted part. when im done with work, gym, etc., the last thing i want to do is tidy up. i just wanna plop on the couch and watch the sopranos or something (ded fkn Srs)
Miss you, too! I'm no longer on Miscord. That's great that you're playing USTA leagues! Good luck in your tournament. Playing daily really helps. I signed up for 2 USTA leagues starting in January. I need to play more often, though. I tend to average once a week as no one wants to play singles

I'm glad she's been awesome! So many of us stay on dating apps forever that it's nice to read a success story!

I can only let it get to a certain point and I can’t stand it so I go HAM deep cleaning everything. Afterwards feel like a king but then my kid comes home and all that’s over with lol.

I'm a slob but draw a hard line at food. Food scraps and dirty dishes just instantly conjures up images of welfare cases living in roach and mice infested filth.

Always have had weird anxiety about cleaning

OP's place looks very similar to mine.

My rooms turn into a disorganized mess with chit all over the place. But never food items. I dont leave old plates or take out anywhere that would attract bugs except some dirty dishes or pots/pans. No like piss bottles or anything like that. But just general disarray of items all over the place. Need like an hour or two to clean up before people come over.

i lived in north east before and while sometimes its nice in spring/summer fall i still rather be south or tropical environments. Fall also gets depressing because I know winter is coming and everything is just dark, grey and all that chit.

Also I have minor/moderate color blindless so I think the fall leaves arent as special to me. I can see different primary colors but basically the fall leave colors wont "pop" as much for me compared to someone with normal color vision. They have glasses that are supposed to enhance the colors for this condition been thinking about buying them.

Nope - Had to vacuum this morning because the little bit of dust gets on my nerves.

I'm the same OP. Place looks like a dump 5/7 days. Been making daily goals to spot clean but work and other stuff always pops up. Started selling things I don't really need to help declutter/manage my home better. Feels good honestly.

Have clients into my house so I need to be tidy, even though I'm not fanatical about it. My kids even have slightly messy rooms but their mom is an OCD neat freak so I let them chill at my place. If you have a hard time walking on the floor because of toys, etc then it's cleanup time and they know that.

Kitchen gets cleaned daily and I never leave food out. I'm paranoid about mice and bugs. Bathrooms and laundry usually get cleaned once/twice a week.

When my girlfriend comes over I joke with her it's a good thing because it means I make the bed, clean up the bedroom, pick up everything and put it away, etc.
