I've done things solo like music festivals and some parts of Europe vacations on my own.

Depends where you go.. Vegas I wouldn’t recommend because it’s best to go with a group of friends and party hard. Idk tho maybe you can have a good time solo. Same with resorts.. kinda weird going alone unless you are an old woman looking to chill on the beach all day.

There are tons of countries with hostels where you could meet other solo travellers and have a great time assuming you’re somewhat extroverted. This would be kind of weird if you’re over 30 though. Also not sure how covid has impacted all this. You said you wanted to go somewhere warm so I’d recommend Spain, South America, Central America. Do some research and read recent reviews of the hostels

Went around on the euro inter-rail pass thing for a month solo whilst the euros were on. Most of the hostels had people doing similar.

It wasnt just the local girls that were friendly but some of the tourists too, met some girls from Australia, Israeli, and a lot of Japanese/Asian tourists too but they roll in a big group and only some could speak english

The local guys hate hard though…big ass samoans were always mean mugging me wherever i went

I’m in mainland Europe.

I’m a merc not permie so it’s worth it.

If you are a merc then Switzerland>Holland>Germany.

I’d avoid Belgium. Obscene tax.

60% tax is not correct but Belgium is somewhere in the region of 55%. I’ll never work there so I’m not sure if exact rate.

Europe is very socialist (ie high tax) except Switzerland.
