Wow you should meet this chick that i used to be friends with.

i fully agree with you she's prob not strategized it but i think this is like a subconscious display of it even if they aren't aware of it. e.g. stupid people unaware of what they are doing

she's basically been just nice but it's a little too close. it's just thinly veiled enough to be manipulative

she hasn't explicitly said anything sexual which gives her the leeway to accuse you of being "insecure" (she's going to say he's just a friend) but it's also a little too close for "just friends", e.g. "that was first day we met and we looked like best pals we just clicked"
