Conventional wisdom says its a bad idea but historically its always made up a large percentage of where married couples first met.

That percentage is getting lower however with social media and dating apps.

Cold approaching is generally seen as quite aspie and I don’t think many girls would respond well to it. Dating apps are the Main way people meet but you have to tread through a lot of time wasters to find someone who actually wants to meet. You could get lucky and meet a girl through mutual friends or something like that but that’s not exactly within your control so I wouldn’t want to be relying on it
