Seems like there are parallels in ideology between tatts and bodybuilding, especially aesthetically.

Some people who get tatts look at their tatted/bare skin and feel the same as a lifter feels about their body.

And yeah, in both cases there are a bunch of people doing it just to fit in or ****.

Not a fan of tattoos. I live in Western Sydney though so every white guy has a bunch of chitty tattoos, beard, lame hair cut and a beer gut by age 25. White girls similar deal except no beard and a larger beer gut uncovered so everyone can check out the belly button piercing.

I’ve been jacked with no tatts and I’ve been jacked with 70+ hours of tattoos and let me tell you I get WAYYYYY more attention with tatts. Girls and guys compliment me every single day. “I love your tattoos, where did you get them done? How much did it cost? Did it hurt?” Etc..

It’s a night and day difference from when I was no tatts to full sleeve and back, leg, etc. every single day people come up to me. Dudes will approach with their gf’s and say how much they like them and how they want some and whole time their girl is just drooling eye phuckin me. It’s too easy.

That being said I HATE 99% of other peoples tattoos. Terrible taste, terrible design, no flow etc. most look so trashy. Especially on girls lol. I dont date any girls with tattoos haha. Helps being 6’5 and lean but definitely get 100x the attention with tattoos. I didn’t want to cover my muscle at first but after 10 years of lifting I said phuck it and started. I still won’t do a full chest piece cuz it covers all definition and shreds but oh well. Pic for reference. I show up anywhere In scrubs with full sleeve and everyone is Mirin

Same here. Never had one, and never wanted one until now. Not to get a tattoo but srs want to get my dog's pawprint on me. She passed and thinking of getting the one where they take the cremated ashes and put it in the ink. Not doing it for a look or whatever, but because of her, mark her on me forever the way she marked my soul.
