In Venom 2, it was explained that the symbiotes operate as a hive-mind, capable of maintaining knowledgeacross universes. So in Spiderman 3 (from 2007), Topher Grace's symbiote knew that Peter Parker was Spiderman. Therefore, ALL symbiotes knew that PP is SM. Hence Tom Hardy (who is bonded to his symbiote) got pulled into the MCU.

For 5'8" and 25 years old he's doing alright.

Kid is an acrobat also. Spidey ain't supposed to be played by Arnold, Batista, or Lou Ferrigno. Parker was always a skinny kid.

Parker is 5'10''. Holland is 5'6'' (and skinny af. lean for sure, but skinny). plus, Parker is 170, which looks bigger than holland.

He doesn't look like a "real hero". He looks like a 14yo boy wearing a cheap Spider-Man suit he bought for carnaval.

So y'all want bodybuilders to play every super hero role?

Superman, Batman, Thor, or Hulk sure they need to have a huge presence about them.

Spider-Man was always the nerdy kid who accidentally got these powers and had to learn how to balance his personal life, relationships and school all while dealing with these newfound superpowers. He was never depicted as a huge guy in the comics. He was supposed to come off as normal.

I understand the need to have certain superheros look the part to be accurate and to add to the suspension of belief in the comic book world. I just never really felt that in Spiderman's character.

Zendeya is 5'10''. Holland is 5'8".

I thought it was really good. I didn't particularly like Zendaya in the first two, but she did a really good job in this one.

Doesn't need to be a bodybuilder. Just someone muscular.

Tobey's was perfect for the role. Muscular but still "normal". He was nerdy and at the same time, he looked like a real hero when he was doing spider-man stuff. And he learn to balance personal life, relationships...even school with his powers.

Plus the movie had an "aura", Tom Holland movies don't.

And, I believe Tom Holland is closer to 5'6'' than 5'8''. And Zendaya around 5'8''. Despite what google says. (Check celebheights website)

Yeah I feel you on that.

Tobey is my Spider-Man also but I think Holland tapped into another aspect of Peter Parker that Tobey or Garfield didn't which I appreciated.

Sometimes I think how cool it would have been if the Avengers had happened in the early 2000's with Edward Norton as Hulk, Tobey Maguire as Spidey and Hugh Jackman as Wolverine in The Avengers.

Venom is gonna curbstomp Spidey so hard when they meet in the next movie. No way tiny Tom Holland Spiderman gonna have a chance at beating 10' tall symbiote master race.

Meh, he'll find a way back in somehow. The two are inseparable. Actually, I think based on the spiderman TV shows Venom will attach himself to spidey for a while for maximum lolz

Little interest in the new movies. Venom was my favorite character as far back as the early 90s. Venom is no joke. He’s like Deadpool in that he’s a highly underrated character with insane power. He’s one of the most powerful characters in the universe. The fact that Spider-Man is his “equal” stumps me. SM’s power isn’t even close to venoms level. I guess that put SM’s intellect so high and that’s how he matches up, but either way, venom is insane. After defeating (and eating) Carnage, he becomes even more powerful. The symbioses merge with venom being the dominant. There are few marvel characters that can take out Venom, or atleast, easily

I like the character. Movies were like 4/10 maybe bumped up a little bit due to Venom providing the lolz. Carnage was cool but he needs a Logan type of movie where he can just wreck havoc, he was SUPER tame in his movie. Carnage is supposed to be an absolute monster.

Tobey is old school Peter Parker. Andrew did his level best as a follow up. Tom Holland is just bad acting. Looks like a spoiled kid with his dad's weight set and a Halloween 'R' Us costume.
