By doing this he's going to get a lot more sympathy. This gets much more of a "wtf" reaction. I see what you're saying though, and yes that's also action that needs to take place. Going after the people enforcing these mandates and laws would only really be effective with a decent mass of people pushing behind it, and guys that do off the wall desperate chit like this is often what starts to get people together.

In either case, dude reached a breaking point and did something, however crazy it was.

It's not about if that politician gets replaced, it's about putting fear in the rest of them. Many of them are only doing this because they will lose their jobs and be "canceled" if they tell the truth. There is a very strong stick pushing them left.

If, however, there was an ever bigger stick pushing them right...
