This kind of crap, (and yes it happens a lot) is like a slap in the face to me and other competitors who are serious. Sorry is just pisses me off.

I usually think of a sport as having a few characteristics - notably athleticism and/or skill
Golf for example is a sport that requires more skill whereas football requires more athleticism
Bodybuilding requires no skill or athleticism. Anyone can go into a gym, pick things up, put them down and then eat and inject OJ - it requires tremendous consistency and discipline but that’s about it
Catching touch downs or posing on a stage in a thong all oiled up - see the difference? Ones a sport and the other is more of a gay beauty pageant where the results are completely subjective (up to the discretion of the judges)

It took me a day to learn how to squat properly. It took me 14 years to get good at hockey.
So maybe it takes some athleticism and skill but infinitely less than real sports like golf, lacrosse, hockey, football, soccer, baseball etc.

They've probably been training for many many years. What I'm saying is the learning curve for a real sport is much steeper. It takes 5 mins to learn how to bench press or do a curl properly. You can't just pick up a golf club and have a perfect swing. You can pick up a barbell and have a perfect curl after a few tries.

Don't hate on the guy, it's an amateur comp and he did everything right to qualify. Sure he was probably the only guy in his weight class as the qualifier but that's not his problem

I see both sides. I see the humor in this. I see how it could piss off serious competitors. I also see how people could just humor him if he's mentally slow or delusional and let him "compete", even though he doesn't belong on stage. Of course, if this happened at every show and there were always a couple of entrants like this, then you need to address the problem via rules changes.

I don't find it funny when out of shape people step up on stage. They make a mockery of the competition and insult the actually jacked athletes who trained hard to represent.

If he met the requirements to be there but everyone in the industry and running the competition universally agrees that he shouldnt have been there.... then change the requirements. why they mad at him for, there the ones who make the requirements.

LOL BB is a sport, its a subjective 'beauty' 'mass' competition for unhealthy body dysmorphic juiced up head cases that often damage, shorten their lives or die from their obsession
that being said this fat fck is a joke and insults the people who put in the effort and drugs to fulfil the brief of what BB actually is
