I work at a hospital. Dispensing ivermectin for covid ? Talk about an actual embarrassment lmao

Uhhh if you work at a hospital, when would you actually have patient interactions?

Why would dispensing ivermectin be an embarrassment? Because youre not an actual pharmacist and you have no idea moa of ivermectin or read any studies on its efficacy on treat covid? Lol

Since you don't seem to understand how this works, let me help you out.

Below statement from the state board of pharmacy is allowing me to dispense what ever the fck medication I professionally determine to be legitimate.

https://www.pharmacy.texas.gov/

chrome-extension://efaidnbmnnnibpcajpcglclefindmkaj/viewer.html?pdfurl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.pharmacy.texa s.gov%2Fnews%2Fpress-release%2Fjoint-statement-re-drugs-or-treatment-for-covid19.pdf&clen=90515&chunk=true

Below study is one of the studies, among many others, I looked at as a medical professional to determine whether the drug should be dispensed for its off label use or not.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8203399/

As I mentioned on earlier, we are also dispensing the new anti-virals, the paxlovid and molnupiravir, if you even know what they are. We also have done hundreds of monoclonal antibody treatments. I am assuming that you're embarrassed that I dispense those as well huh?

So you're basically embarrassed that I am trying to help patients infected with coivd-19? dude, if you really are a pharmacist and this is how you think, you need to turn in you license and go find another profession.
Trust me, I am a pharmacist.

So then would it be Australia's fault? It's not about the location, it's about the intent and who is in on it.

I wasn't referring to a single study, but rather the reasonably large body of extent literature. It wouldn't make sense to base medical decisions or recommendations on a single study.

You actually think I based my decision on a single study? and now questioning my ability to look up studies? lol

Okay.

Here you go.

https://www.covid19treatmentguidelin...ermectin-data/

If you want to look up more studies yourself, below link may help.

https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/resul...e=&city=&dist=

Also, the decision to treat patients with EUA drugs such as ivermentins, anti-virals and monoclonal antibodies were done in a committee meeting with in our clinic and the medical team which included pharmacists, including myself and doctors that work in the clinic.
Trust me, I am a pharmacist.

I'm not questioning your abilities. I asked a question.

Are you eyeballing the outcomes in those trials or conducting an analysis of those raw data? It doesn't look like much if any benefit over placebo, but an analysis of those outcomes would be helpful.

Similar findings if you review the published work:

Does Texas allow pharmacists to prescribe as well as dispense? To the same patient?

"Lets take this virus and do a gain of function so it can infect humans, what could possibly go wrong?" said the biggest idiot of the new millennium playing fuk around and find out with the health of all of humanity.

One of the top reasons I don't get the vaccine is because I'm not going to take a vaccine from the very idiots that created this whole problem in the first place.

As far as China, did they intend for it to leak or whatever I'm not sure but when it happened, they covered it up because commies don't want to do anything to be embarrassed and there is even evidence that they purposly allowded international travel outside China from Wuhan.

We were looking at AEs and other factors as well as the benefits. At the time we were looking at hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin, obviously, antivirals were not out yet. We had to make the best decision we could with options we had. Once the state released the antivirals about a month ago, majority of our prescribers have moved on to writing for those.

Texas is allowing mAbs to be dispensed by pharmacists under EUA. Others, we still require prescribers RX.

I think the main difference is the link I posted looks at published results and not trial design and raw outcomes. The table you posted has design info, but no results.

It makes more sense to follow the media campaigns funded by companies who stand to lose billions if they can't get an EUA on their new anti-viral products if ivermectin is proven effective. Luckily not every other country follows this 'logic'.

Sars-cov-2 was manufactured at the wuhan institute of virology and was leaked, accidentally or not.

Other variants, just like any other virus, may have occurred naturally but the wild type can be traced back to its origin which is Wuhan.

You should go look up the history of this virus. I mean its all out there. You just gotta go read it.

Media took this chance and went absolutely nuts with it. Although now it seems like its backfiring on them. No one is trusting the mainstream media anymore. Joe rogan or tim pool sound alot more logical to a normal sane person. Lol

You'd think it'd be easier to demonstrate its efficacy if it does such a great job.

Why don't people consider Spotify to be mainstream? How many millions of followers does Rogan have?
