Being the land of high corruption and graft, where Covid deaths are highly overexaggerated I doubt cucked states of the Northeast and California will follow suit until April or May. They'll keep kids wearing their useless masks through the end of the school year in June though, so they end up socially autistic and need psych meds from Big Pharma in a few years.

lol. you think there's any chance of this ending? seriously?

at what point in history has any government gained power over its people then given it back?

you and everyone else are best off abandoning all hope of things returning to "normal" and prepare for what's coming (srs). look at Australia if you want a sneak peek.

I have to hand it to the NHS in the UK, as well as Scotland - they do a great job of reporting accurate stats in nearly real time. Our pathetic CDC struggles to have statistics for the prior year in many cases but NHS releases reports every couple of weeks that anyone can see on their site.
A million miles away - I don't.. feel.... anything.

This is a flat out admittance that they pulled one on the people and that the restrictions were bs and mostly didn't have to do anything with actual proof.

People are happy with getting rid of the measures while also being pissed at Boris for pulling this publicity stunt.
You might be retarded if you think Boris or any of his parliament were happy with the restrictions. Quite obvious they thought the whole thing was bullchit, and you can even hear them cheer when he announces it.

The only way your comment makes sense is if you think elected officials are the ones who actually make decisions. I have more faith in your average miscer than to believe that.

Boris is trying to save face, since the public utterly hate him after his recent hypocrisy has been unveiled regarding his 13 parties.

This is nothing more than a tory PR campaign. The majority of us haven't really had to face any restrictions for months anyway.

Pretty much this, guarantee we'd be in all sorts of lockdowns, restrictions and mandates if it wasnt for the controversy about the government lockdown parties

Project Fear/Lies/Jabs continues in reality.

Covid rules being eased but this is not the end - Javid

Asked whether the UK will be effectively be living with no restrictions by the end of March, Javid points out that a third of all UK cases since the pandemic began are linked to Omicron. He says that there will still be some requirements and restrictions, including lateral flow tests for those arriving in England. "But we are going to have to find a way to remove almost all of these restrictions and get life back to normal with one or two things there for a while," Javid adds, citing annual vaccinations for some of those most at risk, as well as testing and anti-virals.

Dr Susan Hopkins from the UK Health Security Agency has been outlining the NHS' successful booster campaign. She says: “We have now got, compared to comparable countries across Europe and North America, the highest rate of boosters in our population overall.” She adds “the strongest defence we have against the Omicron wave that we’re now experiencing and any future waves of variants… is vaccination.”

Jabs 'got us this far', but NHS still under pressure - Javid

Javid says the NHS is still facing "significant pressure" and says the country must "proceed with caution". "A pandemic is a marathon, not a sprint", he says. The health secretary reiterates calls for people to continue to get vaccinated and boosted, adding it was "the jabs that have got us this far and the jabs can keep us here too".

Javid continues by heralding the "solid defences" the UK built up over time in preventing blanket restrictions such as a lockdown when tackling the Omicron variant. "Instead we pursued a different path," he says. England's Plan A, and then Plan B, meant the country avoided stricter restrictions seen elsewhere in Europe. He says that on top of the booster programme, antivirals were deployed to those at highest risk. "Thanks to this collective effort we're more boosted than any country in Europe," he says. "That's why we are the most open country in Europe and today we've announced plans to go even further," he adds.

Javid says it is important to point out that around 40% of people with Covid in hospital are there not because they have Covid, but have tested positive after being admitted.

Link? That seems kind of significant. Are you saying 100K have refused to get jabbed?

Gotta keep a little hope flickering.

Are there still people pushing to continue and even ramp up government restrictions and requirements? Yeah.

But there are also people resisting it and people still waking up to what is happening.
