I have never listened to my father so I know my son wouldn't too.

So he'd be fine on his own and knowing that I can sleep better at every night.

No more sleepless dad in Tokyo.

Glad it's working out for you OP. But like everything in life, everyone is different and what is good or enjoyable for one, may not be for another.

Sorry I was playing with my son and had this thought, and felt some of you boys needed to know the real deal of fatherhood, it’s not all suck it up and tough it out (although that is a huge part of it)
Can confirm, I just became a dad 3 months ago.

The feeling I get when he smiles at me cannot be compared to anything I have ever felt, it is the purest thing in the world.

In on simultaneously wholesome thread evidently peppered with typical misc negativity fuelled by insecurity and general life dissatisfaction.

Congrats, OP.

A daughter however is different, it's like having a broke friend that you can't shake who thinks of you as a free ATM, it's like night and day and I'm not the only one who feels this way.
if you raise your kids right, there shouldn't be much difference between a daughter and son. in fact, i'd say in 2022, a son is more likely to go full incel than a daughter being a complete imbecile who doesn't know the value of a dollar. all we see on socials are IG thots, but they are like .01% of the female population.

i firmly believe most just want to get a good job, raise a family. and if they don't, something went wrong with parenting...ie. broken home, abuse, running with bad crowd.
