I mean if your kid is allergic to peanuts, trusting high school kids to not poison him seems pretty dumb. Especially when these smoothies have recipes so he literally ordered one with peanuts in it and then asked for no peanuts. Just order a different flavour...

That said, they poisoned his kid. So I understand why he freaked the out.

Everyone involved in this story is an idiot.

People with children with allergies take ridiculous risks all the time for the sake of convenience. When I used to manage a kitchen if someone ordered a seafood dish with a seafood allergy and wanted to sub in chicken or something I would just tell the waitress to tell them it wasn't possible and to order something else.

People with allergies and their guardians need to stop being so stupid.

honestly, the guy is a phucking potato. imagine putting your son's life in the hands of high school zoomers at some smoothie store that has peanut products (you're already at a high risk of cross-contamination). somebody gets your order wrong, that chit happens from time to time, especially from minors. at least order something that doesn't have peanuts to begin with so you don't have the situation where they forget not to add peanuts to a product that normally has peanuts.

sad that his kid ended up in the hospital but throwing a damn smoothie and acting like a complete POS isn't helping his case. Now he is going to lose his job for the immigrant comments as well. Not very smart of a wealth management director although being emotional makes us all do stupid chit.

I remember i worked as a fishmonger and beside us was the meat dept. I went to lunch leaving 1 coworker to man the station. Meat dept was nowhere to be found and it suddenly got really busy, so the coworker was manning both depts back and forth. he forgot to switch gloves one time and he handled the steaks with the same gloves he was handling the fish. the customer chewed his ass out and started acting all crazy because his son was allergic. I came in at the height of all the yelling and was like wtf is going on? managers and the whole damn store was pretty much called in to calm the man down.

Actually felt bad for the guy, because although we would cover for them from time to time, it should be their responsibility to man their own dept. Just bad circumstances and a bad mistake. chit happens. putting someone's life in the hands of a minimum wagie below the age of 20 is a risky decision.

I don't think people understand what the word means.

However, he handled that really badly: yelling, throwing things, wanting to charge into the employee area...he definitely could have sued the store/chain and they would have fired or at least scolded the retarded bitches working there. The guy probably has a combination of worry for child and, based on his job, not used to being disregarded by people. No excuse though, he was way out of line even with those retarded bitches.

If he was black things would be different though. That is the actual racism.

well calling them "immigrant losers" was pretty uncalled for. there was no need at all to bring race or whether someone is an immigrant into an argument about his son. just like some other person saying "phucking wypipo", not any different.


And in this day and age this will definitely pit the world against him. dude acted like a complete retard. strangely, it probably won't be the throwing of a smoothie but the immigrant comments that will land him in deep chit.

Let's be honest, the guy was angry because he knows deep down this was partially his fault for landing his son into the hospital. So as a coping mechanism for this simple truth, he chose to take out his pent up anger and aggression on a bunch of zoomers.

Immigrant is not a racial category. That is what I meant, that there was no racism, he just made an idiotic statement. Does that mean he is not a racist? We don't know, but what I saw in that video was not racist, just a stupid comment using "immigrant" as a slur.

I do think that the employer has reason to fire him for using "immigrant" as a slur because that is unbecoming of someone in his position and for a company of that stature. The more immediate problem was his complete retard behavior and reaction. He could have made the complaint and walked out and hired a lawyer, if he wanted, but getting into yelling match with stupid teenage females and throwing something at them and trying to charge back into their employee area was just incredibly stupid.

All around the guy was really stupid. But, he will be destroyed unlike a black person would doing the exact same thing in this era, for "racism."
