I think comedy in movies now sucks because they basically steal jokes from the internet.... The southpark guys made the book of mormon musical and it was the funniest thing ive ever paid money to see.... Because it was 100% original and fresh. Those guys dont steal anything.

For some reason, I still mumble to myself lines from Chris Farley's bus driver character in Billy Madison if I have a snack or drink at my desk when I get to work. I'm almost 40.

Talladega Nights was pretty good, but Something About Mary, that was comedy gold. Adam Sandberg is the best of the little hat club.

Waterboy was the only movie where I thought Sandler was actually funny, ever. Click and 50 First Dates were good and funny, but Sandler didn't add anything to them, could have been anyone in those roles and the movies would have been just as good.

Funny enough, I've been re-watching a few Sandler movies from the 90s/turn of the 2000s lately. Definitely a product of their time. They're mostly all written in the same way. Very similar editing, jokes, and delivery.

I always liked his side character friends a lot. Probably why I liked Grandma's Boy so much. Seriously, that movie for me trumps all Sandler movies. It's a great fuking movie. And Linda Cardellini is so fuking HNNNGGGG. Would literally never pull out.

I don't really understand Adam Sandlers humor most of the time, but every so often he's do or say something funny I thought.

I know other people though who believe Sander to be hilarious.

5 out of 10, his movies gave me a hearty laugh and made me forget about bad things in my life.

While probably he's responsible for more than half of the crow’s feet (laugh lines on our faces) in this world.

But also it's possible that if he weren't here the suicide rate could have been doubled.

So he's a hero in my book.

Happy Gilmore and The Water Boy were pretty hilarious classics imo. Billy Madison was stupid, but it was alright. Never found him very amusing other than those movies. His style got stale to me real fast after the 90's.

Water Boy and Big Daddy were funny enjoyable movies. 50 first dates was also alright.

All others were absolute dog **** have not even bothered watching the trailers of his latest few cuse i already know they gonna be ****. The last one i attempted to watch was some cowboy movie he did for netflix had to stop mid way

The 90s was a different time, and he was definitely funny back then.

His main issue is that he's a multifaceted actor but has a really flat comedy style.

He was great in Uncut Gems. I wish he would stick to roles like that because tour's over for his comedy roles.
