I will never trade my 911 goal for a mediocre SUV.
You say you're happy with your life. That's great.

But don't extrapolate that to think that all married people are poor and drive cheap cars.

My wife and I make a very good living and have nicer "stuff" (since that seems important to you) than 95% of single people. Not because of my income though as a teacher... mostly because she makes a whole lot of money.

And we love each other still after 20 years.

You're with the wrong gal my friend.

Been with my wife for 8 years.....in that time we've lived outside the US 2 times, traveled to 9 other countries & 7 states. We've zip lined through the rain forest and down the side of a mountain in 2 different countries, chartered boats through the Virgin Islands, lived on a farm in Panama, spent many nights in a tent in the woods, the list goes on.....

She supports me in my hobbies and I support her in hers and we have many of the same interests and those that we don't, we understand that we are 2 different people and support each other in any way that we can. Does she like working on old muscle cars.....no.......does she care that I spend a substantial portion of my disposable income on doing just that.....no. She'll even get out there and work on them with me.

I hope you meet someone who compliments you, so you can stop being such a kunty-coper.

How upset does it make you that after living a playboy lifestyle you could only dream of, smashing ~100 different women. Being loved by high quality women and breaking their hearts, I still married an 8/10 who lost her virginity to me and makes 150k/year?

I'll forever want to smash new foreign pussy. Marriage was never in the cards for me and I accepted the lustful coomlord that I am right after HS. Been great smashing lots of local and foreign chicks over the years SRS. I won't stop until my dick falls off or I die or both. Marriage is good for brahs who need to feel loved or cohabitate but that sht ain't for me dawg

I want to sail, I want to face my fears in the nature : deserts, desolated icelands, toundras. I want to ride horses till the end of world. Preferablyh on my own.

How can I do all when I have a nagging needy wife at home calling me every 5 minutes to know where I am and what I'm doing ?

How can I do that with a toddler waiting for his daddy to return everyday ?

No boyos, you've got to live your life to the fullest whilst you're still young before considering any kind of long-term relationship or engagement.

Once you're 50 and the kids finally left the house, it will be too late: you'll be old, tired with the same old hag that you haven't touched in years and disillusioned to death.
If these are your priorities fine but like someone else already said you're taking a big gamble on assuming that you can just go out and find a wife when you're good and ready, especially a younger one that ticks all the boxes. You might get super lucky with this but most likely not.

A classic example of wanting to have your cake and eat it too.

To be fair, this is all negated by a good wife who wants a natural relationship and is willing to give it to you, so long as you are man enough.

Yeah but this has a cost : your freedom and the ability to do what you want without any accountability.

I might love a woman very much but I won't stand having her bossing me around and telling me what to do or how to use my money and free time.

All that come hand in hand with being in a relationship unfortunately.

Sex and companionship become boring pretty fast if you have no clear goals and common projects : At least 80% of couples end up on the couch watching the latest netflix show.

Disagree OP. I would have probably agreed if you said 30, but even then I would have disagreed for a lot of men.

Your average man after 30 looks like chit, is out of shape, and mostly depressed. No way that theyโ€™d be able to attract the best possible mate at 35. For average man, their window of opportunity to attract the best mate is between 20-27. You can stretch that to 30 if the guy has more going for him. After 30, things are much harder unless youโ€™re a good looking guy with good physique and a successful career. Most men by default are not in this category. After 30, theyโ€™ll be encountering large number of single mothers/divorced women or bitter old single women. Younger women will go for younger guys, or older, well established, successful good looking fit guys. I know this from experience.

Therefore, itโ€™s in the best interest of average man to try to find the best possible mate early on and lock her down. If heโ€™s not slaying then, he wonโ€™t be slaying past 30-35.

Yeah this OP. Find a woman who isn't a needy phuck. Obviously I can't go on a three month desert horse ride alone to the "end of world" (why would I want to do this) but have no issues taking a long weekend to go do whatever the hell I want while she watches our kid.

This too. Of course being a father means a lot of responsibility and your time is not truly yours. But a devoted spouse and mother will make it much easier and fun. My wife is an amazing mother and allows me to pursue my extracurriculars. Everything is within reason of course, because fatherhood requires time and sacrifices.

This is problem is caused by picking the wrong partner; not by marriage. You have the choice to pick whatever partner you want. Maybe you'll find someone with similar values and lifestyles. And couples have the freedom to define their relationship however they want.

If I do get married, I'm choosing not to have kids, an expensive mortgage or a materialistic lifestyle, so I can wake up in the morning and do whatever I want.

Why do y'all assume that your wife is going to nag you when you marry them?

Also - you should be with someone that you don't feel like you're losing your freedom being with and you want to have those adventures with together!

its a slight tradeoff but for me its 100% worth it. i am still able to do what i want and im not being bossed around by her. there are still plenty of non toxic woman out there albeit they are rare. after 35 you will only encounter damaged goods imo

Itโ€™s gotta be kinda nice not being old af raising kids and you can enjoy life with them. I wouldnโ€™t wait long. If you wait to 35 youโ€™re going to be 70 when your kid is 35. Iโ€™d like to have as many healthy years with my kids as possible and would gladly trade a few saturdays getting drunk with the boys or a few less holes Iโ€™ve filled for that

Unless youโ€™re Elon Musk or chad chaddington, if you have t found a nice woman to start settling down with by mid to late twenties and shooting for kids early to mid thirties youโ€™re doing it wrong

All I have around me is late 20's and early 30's jaded women with lots of emotional damage and messy relationships.

That ship has long sailed for me, I'm becoming and oldcel (turning 32 this year) : long mentally young woman won't want to settle down with me unless I have much more to offer compared to a younger chad/chadlite/whatever.

In hindsight all the ones that were worth marrying I met them during my early 20's : Ain't nobody sacrificing that Uni YOLO life to wife up a cute girl when you have dozens throwing themselves at you.

Maybe I'm the one coping ?

Pure cope is thinking that you can have your cake of hot quality 20-some women and still eat it later in your mid 30s.

Pretty much every wife material type girl I met in undergrad is married, engaged, or hanging out with long term boyfie type material right now. I made a fake account to swipe through Tinder and Bumble (don't want to add real pics yet till I'm not fukking bloatmaxxed), and all I get there is fat 32yo single moms living in Tijuana. It's hard to even speak to a girl when you're single in the professional world, much less find one who's wifey material, much less find one who's wifey material and single at a later age.

If you can find that early 20s and get married by 25... fukking do it. Fuk your "adventures". Renting powersports and flying Ryanjet to 1st world nations isn't a fukking adventure, it's just consooming.

I'm an oldcel and admittedly way out of touch with the dating scene but I can see that one of the biggest problems is hookup culture (Tinder etc...) and people putting off "growing up" until later and later in life. I get that there's a bunch of valid reasons for this but the reality is, from a purely biological point of view humans haven't really evolved much from when we first stood upright and the 'best' time for a female to get knocked up is as soon as her body is fully matured from a reproductive standpoint which is why people used to get married and have kids so young as little as 100 years ago. I know there's no going back to that but nature doesn't really give af about the economics or culture of modern society.

Yea, that's true if you can pull it off, and you stayed in shape and are rich. But most guys are less desirable at 35 then 30, and far less at 40 than 35. Simply, most guys are losers.

IMO the move is to make yourself a 9/10 at age 35 and settle for a 28yo 8/10 that you can have under your finger. Going for 1 point down and 5-7 years younger is for sure the move, you want to be firmly in the power seat.

The earlier you start raising kids, the longer you can watch over their lives and their kids, your grandkids.

And if you are lucky, you can see your great-grandkids too.
