Ask them questions about themselves, don't talk too much about yourself and remain kind of mysterious. If they ask what you do say something funny and stick with it in a teasing kind of way, etc.

Idk I'm not that much taller and never had an issue. I never really tried hard and they just came to me and once they showed any minor interest it was really easy.

I think too many dudes try too hard. Women can sense desperation.

Things did start changing in late 2014 when everyone got addicted to social media/smart phones/echo chambers and they started pushing globohomo propaganda through every source. It was right around the time Gamergate started.

I joined the forum again then because i could see it and this was the only decent forum

While I'm getting much more attention from females now, I can say I've experienced what he has.

Sometimes it's more about being around the right people at the right time and those people seeing your value.

Dating is a and just because you aren't having an issue doesn't make it any less difficult for the rest of us.

As for FA. I reckon there still could be something you can do to improve your odds of getting interest from women. What has been your main source of interacting with women? IRL? Apps?

I'm not saying that. But I've seen so called incels doing a bunch of chit wrong. Mostly weird personalities, no confidence, boring, overly desperate, too nice, never smile, act creepy, etc.

The no confidence is the biggest factor. Women can sense confidence easily even through body language.

I will say that if their only source is dating apps and you aren't very good looking then that's probably going to never work these days.

Incels need to watch how this guy acts

This is exactly what I mean. He's a nerd, lives with his parents, but has been the only one on this show to score 2 dates because he has 1) confidence and 2) sense of humor. Those two things will easily work in attracting women. Dude was getting all the Comic Con pussy

I also notice a lot of incels have insanely high standards...like the women has to be perfect and a 9/10. Those will end up single the rest of their life if they don't lower their standards.

Bars and trying to chat girls up while hiking. I've been doing rec sports, but all the girls there come with bfs. Haven't had any luck getting into social circles and meeting girls' friends of friends or anything. Dating apps were a bust, and I decided to quit them until I cut more weight for better pics. Currently bloating out at 5'7" 165 and I'd like to get down to 150.

I realize I'll never be the guy that girls look at for 3 secs and decide to fuk him without knowing his name.... like 80% of dudes aren't. So bars and hiking are always going to be low odds plays. I've got to play the long game, but I see very very few avenues to do that here with zero female friends and zero women at work. Church is the only thing I can think of.

I never had luck at bars. Hiking probably isn't going to work either.

I heard church is good, work is only good if you work at some retail job or something (dated girls when I was younger in that environment).

My girlfriend and I play in adult rec leagues and there seems to be tons of single girls there, but you mentioned they all come with BFs in your case

You're 26, so volunteering groups might be good. A lot of young women volunteer at animal shelters and its a great/easy way to talk to them.

I heard people mention Meetup groups as a good way

Incel is an objective term. If a person isn't having sex at all against his will (involuntarily celibate), he is per definition an incel. The term has been bastardized to mean anyone having non politically correct / non woke opinions on women or gender issues.

I always understood it as its objective term. But I noticed a lot of leftists and politically left activists (even on the Misc) use it as an insult for anyone who is non-woke, as I've been called an incel on here for not agreeing with with the woke agenda, but I've never been involuntarily celibate.

What sports are single girls showing up to? I do flag football and kickball... no girls in football shouldn't be any surprise and maybe kickball isn't the play.

And Meetup... das not it. I joined one, and let's just say that if I wanted to hang out with 20 autistic men and 0 girls, I'd just stay at work. The organizer of the group actually sent out an email "we've heard a lot of complaints about the demographics of this group, and we want to remind you, this is NOT a dating group." The males were all Reddit types too. Man, I just don't have any good things to say about Meetup.

I do kickball and lots of single girls by me mostly ages 25 to 30. Could be the area you're in. Also did dodgeball.

Do you have any guy friends? Much easier to make guy friends and hang out and that's an easy way to eventually meet women. Also having guy friends improves your perceived social value with women and the rest comes more naturally.

You could be trying too hard...all the girls I met and dated in person I wasn't even actively trying/looking....just put myself in certain situations such as hanging out with friends.

Not many guy friends here. I golf with some old men and hang out with ****** coworkers maybe once a month. No white friends my age, that's for sure. Every one of them is divorced or in an arranged marriage, so friends of friends isn't a play.

Kinda reminds me of being back in college... I hung out with a lot of guys in the electrical engineering grad department, but they were pretty much all single, so friends of friends doesn't work. I went to the 1 female in the department's wedding this summer... she put the EE crew all at one table. 6/8 of us were single, I was the youngest guy there at 26, and all of us were making 6 figures or were like a year away from it.

My career field and my whole fukking life is just like a woman free zone. If the passive approach was going to work, it probably would've got me at least a kiss by now, so I have to look more actively. If I had the looks to score women on just random odd opportunities, it probably would have happened by now, but those genetics just aren't there.

YMMV so I'd at least give it a shot. Like I said earlier, I could use more white friends and you could meet definitely meet white friends there. But personally, I am just soooo fukking burnt out on the autistic white engineer/MTG type. Went to a STEM high school. STEM undergrad, STEM grad school, and have a STEM job, so I am fukking SICK of dealing with the Reddit STEMlord type.

If you've never really dealt with them before, give it a shake, I guess. Tabletop gaming is fun. You just don't want to hang around the tabletop gaming type of guys every day for a decade.

Not sure how your looks are....but I have a friend who is early 30s, 5'7", bald, pasty white who has no problem dating women. He has confidence, a good sense of a humor and a good personality though. He does have commitment issues, so still hasn't found a long-term relationship but regularly scores dates and casual flings.

There's a guy in our kickball group who is 5'5", a bit chubby, not very good looking, and a teacher (doesn't make much money) and he just met a cute girl and they are dating. But he is outgoing with a good personality.

I assume you you make really good money, so that's a major plus.

Your height isn't a big deal. You don't have to be really good looking. Spending too much time on the Misc will fuk you up because of all the memes and stuff about needing to have good genetics, or be 6'3", or have a perfectly defined jawline and all that bullchit. Looks help but its not the end all be all with women. Its mostly confidence and personality.

Do you live in an area where there's a lot of younger people (30s and under)?

I don't mean this in a mean way, but I think its a combination of the vibes you give off and your personality and lack of confidence. Do you smile and laugh a lot? I've had some friends like this back in my 20s, some who were really good looking and tall, and couldn't get a girl because they were too desperate, thought too hard about it, lacked confidence, etc.

I'd recommend doing stuff to improve your confidence and personality and just focus on that. Do you lift? Go out and buy some nice clothes and stuff. Also try meeting more friends that aren't autistic types.

No, don't have pictures

Forgot where the 5'5" teacher met his girlfriend...but we went bowling with them a few months ago. Might have been a dating app but I can't remember.

My bald 5'7" friend lives out in Denver and meets the girls he's with through college classes/courses (although he finished with that), hanging out with friends, going snowboarding, etc. He's very good at talking to people and has a really good sense of humor though and always had a lot of guy friends he hangs out with.

Wow. Bigger girl would look great if she lost weight (big ask for sure). But that guy was shooting way outta his league (which is nobody) so props.

Problem is girls like that lose weight and split once they get the attention of normal dudes. Some big thread on the /misc years ago about this very thing. Ended with some fraternity chad after dating a geek just like this dude.

sickens me to read this COPE though. If nothing else you should know that many women who date rejects might just be bidin' their time or enjoy the attention. If a femaloid isn't head over fukin heels about you from the get go ...its usually not a good sign. That warming up to someone is bs created by the media.

cliffs: women who are actually INTO guyz literally lose their shyt (aka sleep, obsessive behaviour)...the primary indicator of this is LOOKS.

If you've never really dealt with them before, give it a shake, I guess. Tabletop gaming is fun. You just don't want to hang around the tabletop gaming type of guys every day for a decade.
Yeah, in srsness, I have found them to be awkward sausagefests in the past, but I will look at them again.

One thing she tossed out was book clubs. I kinda like the idea. Been wanting a reason to get back into reading, and sounds like it could have a decent gender ratio. It's been a frustration of mine that with these meetups, it feels like I either have to go for some super womanly activity (e.g. salsa dancing) that I'm not interested in or something I'm interested in but is a sausagefest, but I'm hoping a book club is maybe a happy medium.

I'm not going to deny that there are societal factors at play that are phucking things up such as social media, feminism and all that. Yeah, there's a bunch of trashy sloots, especially these days, who will constantly cheat and endlessly seek Chad (and end up old, single, and miserable eventually). They also have all kinds of emotional and mental issues. But why would you even want a chick like that in the first place?

If this is the mentality that you have though..."I'm a reject, girls will NEVER want me, and if they do they'll eventually leave me for Chad" then you're never going to have a relationship and will likely be single the rest of your life.

I've never experienced what you said before. I dated tons of girls in my 20s (ranging from 6 months to 3 years per relationship). Not a single one left me or cheated on me. The breakups involved one long distance situation (prob would have married that one) and the rest were me breaking up with them (losing interest), one wanting to get married and me not thinking they were the right one, or the girl ended up being so crazy that I forced them to break up with me.

There's still good women out there. And that's not true about women having to lose their chit and be obsessive for them to be worth it. I've had a few that were obsessive with me, especially in the beginning, and trust me....that's not the type of woman you want. One of them was so obsessed she would stare at me like she was in a trance and even put my picture as her phone's wallpaper within a week of meeting me. She was batchit insane.

those are very great ways to meet people. however, if you're signing up on an expensive course just to meet a potential partner, it can backfire. a perfect example of this is if one of the girls in your class does not find you attractive and you ask her out, it will be awkward for the rest of the semester/course. some people might not care about this awkwardness, but other people/girls can pick up on this

i dont discourage this though lol. just looksmax/mogmax and socialmax at same time

I've shagged far too many women to be an "Incel." But I do have pretty huge dry spells, usually am single, and mostly get one-night-stands or short FWB flings that last a few months.

In terms of inexperience (kissless virgin), I could quality as "incel", however I do not prefer to label myself as such. I am honestly more VOLcel, if I had to label myself.

The angry "incel" mindset is negative and basically self-inflicted pain, and you can make your life a misery if you insist on blaming society for your lack of sex or intimacy.

Do you want to end up murdering 6 people, before having to off yourself as well to avoid life in prison as a manlet dweeb?
Cook the man some eggs!

I don't get this^. Most of the people who've self-identified as such in this thread/forum are not the violent, homicidal maniac type. Most "incels" are just people who, for some reason, are unable to succeed socially and can't get girls or dates as a result. Obviously there are the 'Supreme Gentlemen' and Minassians of the world but they're a tiny minority of the demographic. I don't get why people conflate being unable to get laid with hating women.
