I'm a huge fan of every single one of the artists who performed... They're like half of my most played artists on Spotify

But imo super bowl halftime shows are usually suffer from too many cooks no matter how synergistic they are together

Would've much preferred a solo halftime show from any of them than all of them in one show

Because the Superbowl half-time show is pre recorded, its not an actual live performance.

They do this so that if anything goes wrong, they have the ability to fix it and keep the show going and not have to stop because of technical difficulties.

Thought it was pretty weak

The setup sucked, the dancing was meh and the performers just lip synched

I agree, but that's not how pre recorded material comes out when it is blasted into an open arena w/o the proper dampening materials.

Only learned about this through a friend who works as a sound technician and explained why the whole half-time show always sounds the way it does.
