Sounds like you need to adjust your perspective. I can understand being upset at a person you’re close to if they let you down, but the world is what it is and it’s up to you to achieve your goals with what you’re given

You should be angry and it's going to get worse. That's how oppression/tyranny works. Not a good time to be weak and drink to escape. Better off staying sober and getting prepared for anything. Lifting/cardio is a good way to clear your head.
You're not alone, seriously. Anyone else that isn't angry will be caught with their pants down when $hit gets even more real. Here in America the dream is over. Time for people to wake up. A vote won't change where we're headed. It's dog eat dog time.

Go to an Eastern European church and met a woman who attends with her parents / family. Or relocate and spend some time in Eastern Europe.

I get it.
And sorry if my posts have contributed to you feeling hopeless. There hasn't been a lot of good news.
For me having information and a sense that I understand at least the general shape of events, and how the pieces fit and interact, gives me a sense of agency. It may turn out that I'm wrong more than not, but at least I have some sort of map to be going on with, even if I find in the end that I was a lousy cartographer.
My mood has improved. I think it is because though nothing is settled and I have no real plan at least my personal situation is inching forward. Relief may have dropped me into a bit of a lull of relaxation that I can't afford; but at least I'm going somewhere.
It may seem a bit trite, but I came across this in some book when I was in my 20's and it stayed with me:
Anger is energy for change.

For real, turning 30 hit me harder than 40.
You have time. I'm not sure where you are in life now vs. where you think you are supposed to be, but unless you have really flubbed up in a permanent way you can still make it.
Not saying my life has exactly turned out, nor that I'm too optimistic at this point. Still I was going through a divorce around 33 [no kids] and at 35 I was remarried and having a baby.
Men have more time on the clock. Maybe you have to get creative. Maybe it doesn't look the way you thought it would.
But you still have time...

Don't be weak. Literally tell the world to phark off and avoid the news. Avoid the misc if you have to because everyone is posting about COVID and Russia vs Ukraine and redpill blackpill Clown World 24/7 tbh. Focus on your immediate surroundings, censor the rest.
