Maybe kindness as well? Are we tops in kindness? Can't say.

But despite the constant focus on the very worst examples there are still good people here. I've been on both sides and giving feels better IMO.

I don't think that civic life here has deteriorated because people have become innately worse. There are a few factors that definitely aren't helping- higher population in a smaller area, reduced participation in social groups [clubs, churches, charities], more isolation/single person households, media fear porn, and a cracking big dollop of narcissism...perhaps due to insufficient parental validation and social media.

Having forums where people from other countries post on. I don't think I have ever joined a forum that wasn't American. Not sure what reddit is, but I did join that for the bodyweight fitness section and there is a lot of non-USA on it.

Oh ya, 2016 join date, more post on this USA forum than my American 2005 join date.

National parks/public land. I can't say for sure that there isn't another country that has similar availability, but I do think America is pretty unique.

Guns. There are obviously a lot of differing opinions on whether it's good or bad, but firearms are more available in the US than just about anywhere. Rich or poor, it doesn't matter. Race doesn't matter.
